"Comfy but needs a refresh"

This is still a good place to stay. Hotel could use a refresh. Been coming here for 20 years. Breakfast is so-so. There is no swimming pool. Beds are very comfortable. And, the service is excellent.

The bath tub was not cleaned well, but everything else was great. The room was comfortable for our stay. I would stay here again.

There were no clocks in the room, just the one on the microwave, which I had to adjust to the right time. I could set my phone for an alarm in the morning, but there might be some older people who would not be able to do this . I always check for bed bugs wherever I stay. There were not any, but there were dead ladybugs along the edges of the carpet. Only 1 sink in the bathroom on a long counter top. 2 would have been better so that more than 1 person could use the sink at a time . I know they had changed the room to have an additional bed, but this meant there was no couch to sit on to watch TV. Sitting on the bed to do that was not comfortable for my old bones

It was very clean and comfortable. The manager was helpful and polite. We will certainly return in the future.

It would have been nice to stay another night, though the pool was not in operation.
