Best Western Gatwick Skylane Hotel

Friendly helpful staff on arrival Room was clean and well equipped Bathroom was fine and clean Bed was comfy Only disappointment was booked a double and was given a twin. Airport not far at all and hotel accessible by bus from LGW

Staff was helpful. Shuttle was effective. However, the sink was blocking and the tower grill was not working along with hearse

just a one night stay before flying out the next day. Was not expecting a fancy place, and it was not. The room was clean and comfortable though. Not really that close to the airport though. Many guests (including us) were confused about the room numbers and where to find their room. The staff were generally helpful, even with the "difficult" people (which I observed a few times !!) Overall ..... was what I expected.

Close to airport and they offered a shuttle to and and from the hotel. Wifi was not working which is an issue especially if you need to check in to your flight or receive flight updates.

The gentleman who checked me in was one of the worst staff members I’ve dealt with at a hotel. Took a very long time to come out of the back room when I arrived because he was buttering his toast and then proceeded to say “No” to any question I had as if he was annoyed with me for interrupting his snack. Guest info book said travel plug adaptors are available at reception, when I asked for one I got a simple “No” and when I asked the other staff member in the morning out of curiosity she said “why yes of course”. Wifi was not working and when I asked if there was anything he could do about it he pulled his phone out and opened the internet and put his phone in my face and said “look it’s working fine”. As I had no wifi I was forced to ask him if anything was open for food as I arrived late due to a heavily delayed flight and hadn’t eaten in a while he answered “No, your way to late for food around here”. Ended up standing on a chair in the corner of my room to get one bar of wifi and found out there was a open restaurant and convince stores less than a 10 minute walk away. Very disappointed with the service I received.

Open 24/7, niceand quiet, staff are very helpful. Excellent breakfast menu. I love this place.

Close to the airport with shuttle bus, reasonably priced with breakfast available at decent price. We just used it as a place to sleep between flights so worked well for us .

The quiet country side quaint English hotel with a internal name.(Best Western) Some of the front staff need to improve their English and how they react to customers.. Everyone who comes to the desk is an ambassador for your hotel. A pleasant smile goes along way. But an abrupt retort to a simple question leaves a poor impression.Giving directions to local attractions with " go down the street take the first left" is inadequate for strangers to your village.! Perhaps a map would be better. The staff in the dinning area are excellent. We enjoyed our five days in your hotel
