Hilton Waikoloa Village

Nice place

It was a beautiful resort. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. However, The tram was always either a 15 min wait or not working at all. It’s a 15 min walk from the palace tower to the main lobby and breakfast. Breakfast was wonderful except there was always a 40 min wait every morning just to be seated. The room was a little outdated but the bed was very comfortable. Staff was all very sweet. It was our honeymoon and they gave us free beverage coupons for this which was wonderful.

Great pools and excellent staff to assist with everything we needed. Enjoyed the morning breakfast buffet as well. Nui Italia and Lagoon burgers were really good as well.

The hotel was really big and service was great. The Food wasn’t good and everything is really expensive. The property is clean and the live music at the bar is enjoyable. The adults pool is really small and has no activities, it’s quiet there.

Had the time of our lives. Staff was amazing they had lost our keys to our rental, and the managers made sure they made it right for us. Took care of our valet and resort fees and gave us a cabana. They were amazing

This property was too large for us. I was also disappointed by the lack of umbrellas/shade. Overall just too much commotion/big for us. The boat captain was our highlight

Aging but beautiful property. The boats are being phased out which it unfortunate. The trams are slow, hot and very loud. Lagoon is the highlight. Food good but restaurants overpriced .

The property is beautiful with many amenities. Did not expect the daily charge of $48 for the property and another $48 a day to self-park… so an extra $400 for 4 days!!

The room at check in was filthy, had to have it recleaned. The lagoon was polluted with sun screen oil, it created such an oil slick unable to snorkel. Majority of staff beside bell and valet need customer service training. How easy is it to say good morning smile and be pleasant. Hilton Waikoloa is a waste of money spend your hard earned cash else wear.

We booked this property in hope that we can spend at least a majority of time in the hotel. However, it doesn't work out that way. Here is why: 1. facilities are spread out and far apart. Without transportation, walking from one place to another often takes a long time, by foot only; 2. transportation network between the buildings is well developed but poorly serviced. The boat was not operating, trams only operate with sparse schedule; 3. resturants and coffee shops are very few so very limited dinning options for breakfast, lunch and dinner; 4. the pool side lounge chairs has NOT covers. So if you want to sit there watching kids playing, you shall be prepared to get real bad sunburn. 5. when booking, there are limited information about the properties, we choose Palace Tower, which turned out to be the worst building to stay. Overall, the property is beautiful and well-appointed. Just that the services are so sparse that we ended up lots of time between places.
