Beautiful resort! Big enough to explore for several days! We got to see turtles swimming in the Lagoon Beach and the paddleboard yoga was great.

🔴 Challenges to Be Aware Of 🚶‍♂️ Distance to Parking     •    Getting from your room to your car is a long trek—about 1,500 steps one way (approx. 3,000 steps round trip).     •    A tram system is available, but it’s often inconvenient—rarely heading the direction you need and slow to arrive.     •    Most guests end up walking the entire distance, which can be frustrating, hot, especially with children or gear. 💸 Resort Pricing     •    Be prepared for extremely high on-site prices:     •    A single pizza can cost $78     •    Sunscreen is priced at $40     •    Prices feel excessive and not family-friendly. 🚗 Extra Charges     •    Expect to pay a $50/day parking fee     •    In addition, there’s a $50/day resort fee     •    These hidden costs add up quickly and can make the stay feel overpriced. 🧹 Housekeeping Policy     •    Room cleaning requires a 24-hour advance notice.     •    While the intent may be to reduce unnecessary cleaning, it’s inflexible for guests with unpredictable schedules. ⸻ ✅ What We Loved 🌊 The Lagoon     •    The lagoon was a highlight of the stay—beautiful, relaxing, and a great place for families to enjoy. ⸻ Final Thoughts This resort has some incredible natural features, like the lagoon, but logistical issues and excessive pricing can significantly impact your overall experience. Consider these factors when deciding if it’s the right fit for your trip.

Very nice property:. Quiet and well maintained. Staff very helpful, even brought me extra bedding in the middle of the night. Loved the dolphins.Only downside is not a lot of food options in the evening.

Our room had a beautiful view of the ocean AND dolphins! We enjoyed the lagoon and all of the restaurants.

Room was guaranteed at 4pm. Not ready and we checked in at 1pm. Moved us to a different room which was poorly kept- dirty, dusty, blood stains on pillows. Never been used or cleaned. Asked for manager and moved us. Our entire 1st day was wasted. Staff is not kind and not accommodating. The large pools and lagoon is nice and well maintained. But the rooms are old and not worth it. Property needs to be updated. Need a breakfast spot that serves a la carte not just a buffet. The little coffee shop sold out of all pastries by 8am. Just not what I expected. Thought service would be great. Will not return. Going to continue staying at Marriott.

I was disappointed nobody cleaned the room even after 4 days. I called and they promptly tried to clean it after 5pm which isn't OK. The many texts were nice but staff and texts do NOT match. Poor communication. Staff was nice and accommodating otherwise. The Ocean Tower could use a nice venue for drinks and music in the evenings.

Didn’t like I had to wait an hour for someone to come fix my room door so I could get in!

One of your managers, Carl, was incredibly rude and long story short, I paid for a private cabana, your most expensive one. The oasis with its own spa, and someone tried to walk in and use it. When she was informed it was private she decided to complain and ME AND MY PARTY were kicked out instead of that person being told that it was indeed reserved. Unprofessional, completely disrespectful to a PAYING customer, and completely wrong to side with someone trying to take advantage of your facilities without paying. We will be taking this further.

Beautiful resort but hard to get around at times— tram times were long.

This was our second time here and we had a wonderful stay. I do wish that the weights room was updated. Other than that, fabulous all around.
