The good: great location, great views, the property is in good condition, walking distance to the Gondola. The unit was pleasent to stay in, comfortable beds. Th Bad: elevator did not work, they did not mention that at the check in and put us on the 4 th floor, not too much fun climing 4 flights of starts at 9300 feet above see level. The check in is at a different location, the airport shuttle slapped us with extra $140 for the extra stop to pick up the keys. There is no sit down indoor breakfast restarants, be ready to do some shopping and cook in your unit. The village restarants close early and do not folow the operating hours listed on their website/ doors. There is a small grocery store in the village with limited food choices. The shuttles run every 40 min and I think stop at 6pm If you have a car you should be fine.
Great location for ski beginners.
Great condo and location. Needs better communication on where to go to pick up keys for the condo. Siri had us driving in circles and person on the phone was no help.
Fireplace didn’t work. Hair dyer didn’t work and had to wait 24 hours to get a wheelchair after my girlfriend fractured her leg. Then room keys didn’t work and had to wait an hour for them to give us our key and then said they wristbands they gave us originally never work so they recommend a real key. Pain in the butt
Found dirty clothes from previous guest in the closet when we checked in.
Condo is aging a bit but was comfortable and clean for our family of 4 for 2 nights.
I thought it was overpriced. Not close enough to chair. Attitude was bad. Room was old and blinds were broken. Wet dirty towel on floor. Do not stay in expedition lodge in River Run
Great location right next to the lift and Gondola. Skate ring and several restaurants are all in walking distance.
We stayed in a premium 2 bedroom condo in the Red Hawk lodge. The room was very nice the location was perfect. The gondola and village were less than 5 minutes away. We'll definitely be back!
Location is good. Run down apartments way past their prime. Keystone/ Vail seems to control most properties here - so there is little alternative/ competition and it shows. Would recommend some of the other resorts nearby with greater and better choice of lodging.
