"Terrible motel"

At best, the Westin Whistler is a Courtyard by Marriott in the mountains. It is neither a resort or a spa and has one of the most disgusting pool complexes in Canada. There are so many better choices that I would never recommend staying at the motel.

Each interaction with the team was a pleasure: friendly, responsive, and supportive. The room had a very modern, new interior. We enjoyed the fireplace and the view (mountain view meant to see the mountains on the other side of the valley). Also the location within the village is very good, close to the ski lifts.

Not much to complain about, except that the spa was a bit disappointing for such a large hotel: small, poorly designed, and a bit worn down. However, we enjoyed the snowfall or watching the stars while sitting in the jacuzzi.
