Royal Hotel Kettering

Comfortable bed tired and rundown. Nothing like photos, room hadn't been hoovered. Staff were polite but disinterested. Slept well and very quiet

I just dont know what to say about this hotel. Well bedding and towels were clean. Please dont expect anything else. Oh yes the cups held water.

Very disappointing due to slopping floor in room plus old furniture and absence of space plus squeaky floors and no lift.

Sometime ago it was a lovely hotel full of character. Not anymore, if someone spent a lot of money and time on it it could be again. Tv in room not working,no plug in the sink,only one pillow on the bed, windows leaking, as was the hotel with dripping water everywhere. The only good thing it had a comfy bed . I dont know how you as a company can put lovley pictures of hotel bedrooms on your website all modern and inviting only to find them something out of the archives.

I travel a lot for work and without doubt this is the worst room ever. What a dump. Carpets stained and more like tarmac. Sat on the bed, wow sharp spring. Bed way too big for the room, not even a bedside light. Wardrobe looks like it came from a skip. Lack of sockets, the only good thing were the desk staff. The bathroom looks like it all came from a skip, repairs done to such a poor standard. Couldn't stay just left.

I stayed here and was asked to pay a deposit of £50. they said it would be paid back on check out. never paid it back. Silly as I am here on a 12 month contract and they could have had 51 weeks out of me. but they are a rip off. I will never stey here or recomend it. Horrible greedy people

When entered room tv was on and a half drunk coke sitting on bed side table . Carpet was filthy and fan dirty and broken. The hotel is obviously used for homeless people as there were key lock safes by all doors . Decor was dark and miserable and I don’t believe in my experience the fire doors would have kept anyone safe. I will never visit your hotels again and never recommend them.

put a staff member in hotel for 3 days and they told him after the first night they were full as he had checked out? He had not he just does not leave anything in rooms anymore

No hot water heating bed on floor no legs floor not level

I left immediately after seeing the room. One of the windows had missing panes,there was mold and dust everywhere, not to mention the spider webs. I came straight back to the desk, informed them of my concerns and the desk clerk said he didn't blame me. Won't refund my money though.
