Bed was comfortable

Reception staff hard to understand. Never have I ordered food where A: so much was not available and B: where the main was bought to me before the starter! Room was too hot. Breakfast staff sparse which means you wait around to be seated when all they want is your room number. Breakfast food not very appealing and whilst tasted ok, it smelt rank. Only stayed as it was a last resort as my previous stay was just as bad.

I have stayed here four times now and I can honestly say it is a great place with very friendly and helpful staff who always have a smile for you and the cleaning staff do a great job it is spotless. It is located very close to public transport for easy access to the town center and main bus station also a 5min walk from local shops and cafes. Love it would highly recommend 👍

Ideal location for visiting relatives and handily outside the Bristol Clean Air Zone for our old Jaguar. Breakfast good value if booked in advance.

The building was interesting and nicely adapted as a hotel. The lady at the reception desk was very welcoming and helpful. I don't remember requesting a quiet room, it was in a remote part. The room was large and comfortable. The nearby park was a bonus and there were lovely views from the top of the hill.

The room and bathroom is adapted for accessibility and I was surprised as I had not requested that. The walk in shower without doors and a curtain meant some of the rest of the bathroom floor was wet. Otherwise we were very happy with the facilities.
