Lake Placid Lodge

A acomodação foi perfeita para o nosso grupo. 2 adultos e um adolescente. Cozinha bem equipada e limpa. Quando chegamos havia já para uso : detergente de cozinha, toalha de papel, pano de prato e sacos plásticos. Utensílios de cozinha completos. Um quarto com uma cama de casal boa e um sofá cama também confortável. Muitos armários. Banheiro com banheira. Toalhas limpas e em quantidade adequada. Secador de cabelo. No subsolo ha uma lavanderia com custo de CAD$3,75 para cada operação. Lavar e secar. A distância até a Vila de Whistler e de 4km. Há 5 blocos de estacionamento para carros e motorhome ( so vi motorhome no estacionamento 2). Existe um valor por hora e um para o dia todo após as 17 horas é gratuito. Muito próximo a acomodação temos um mercado muito bom que podemos ir andando. Muito conveniente. Posto de gasolina atravessando a rua. Estacionamento para quem vai de carro no subsolo do prédio. Em Whistler ha um sistema de ônibus municipal gratuito que vale baixar o aplicativo.

During the warm summer days AC conditioner was missing

Very clean, updated, and we had a bottom suite that backed right out to the pool. This was perfect for the kids and for us to keep an eye on them. Great location right across from the marketplace. And quick 5 minute drive to the village.

The only negative there is was the bed. It was very squeaky and not comfortable for my husband and I.

It was in a good location

It was awkward all around: 10 digit code to enter garage, get from garage to elevator. Getting between those doors. Sofa and chair were uncomfortable. Bedroom was warm even with fan set on nightstand. We had to take trash and recycling out before leaving.

This a self-service accommodation that asks you to (1) collect a parking pass from the unit to put in the car and then return it back to the flat at departure (that's four trips) (2) throw out the trash, recycling and compost (3) run the dishwasher (4) message them when you leave. It only offers coffee/tea for the first day of stay - but we didn't even get coffee in the basket. There is no reception - you can only access the property via a 10-digit code and when I accidentally forgot my mobile, i was literally stuck on my own (there is no help button or phone). I spent almost half hour walking around the property looking for a staff. I waited for another patron to come to the parking garage and even they couldn't get in using their passcode. At $300 a night - I expected more.

Nice secure apartment block with lovely communal pool area. Apartment kitchen was well equipped although all a little dated, a 1980s time warp, but everything worked well and was clean and tidy. Parking worked well and was essential.

THE BED!! The creaky old wooden frame and plastic mattress cover meant an undisturbed night's sleep was impossible. The pillows, sheets, etc were excellent but I can't stress enough about how awful the bed was.
