Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Boston - Marlboro by IHG

The location was excellent as it was across the road from a huge shopping plaza. The room was pretty, and the lobby and facilities were all just being renovated. The staff was friendly, especially the cleaners and the morning breakfast area attendant.

The smell of paint was so overwhelming that I could not sleep. I had to keep going to the bathroom to breathe better air! The bathtub faucet did not work, and the shower head only trickled out water. After a 4 hour drive, a birthday celebration we attended, all we wanted was to get a decent night's rest. It was very late when we checked in, and by the time I realized the shower wasn't working well, I was too exhausted to even ask to be relocated. The worst was my husband saw 3 roaches in the bathroom. We packed up and told the front desk. I left an email to the company but have not heard back from anyone. I am extremely disappointed as I love holiday inn expresses! I usually book with them because of the value and cleanliness. We paid $211 for 1 night and it was definitely not worth it.

Property is under a remodel. Very few English speaking staff members. Room not clean, lots of bugs. Do not stay here till they confirm remodel is complete.

Customer service was excellent

I was in town for a funeral and had to work remotely. Cynthia, the manager of the front desk was happy to accommodate my needs and gave me a 1 pm checkout. The hotel is clean, breakfast is delicious and the staff is friendly. I woukd definitely come back here again!
