TURIM Lisboa Hotel

Close to Eduardo VII park with a supermarket within the block. We ate in one nite with some groceries purchased there. Very good restaurants close by. Breakfast in the hotel is more than adequate. Reception staff were helpful with all enquiries. You have to rent a safe key. They called us a ‘reputable’ taxi to get us back to the airport which was one third the price of the taxi from the airport to the hotel. Beware, it should cost under fifteen euro. Quiet street. Good value for your dollar.

TURIM Lisbon was useful to me specifically as a safe place to stay overnight while on a long layover at Lisbon Airport. The connecting flight to Casablanca did not go for 23 hours (this was a reduced fare). I do not necessarily know if others would make the same choice, but for me it was a chance to look at Lisbon while on the way to the main destination.

Hotel in convenient location to metro and museums. Rooms clean and up to date. Well stocked fridge with $ items. Safe was not in working condition and telephone was not hooked up to be able to call front desk.

Except for the terrible view of my room 107, everything else was good and comfortable. Next time I will ask a room with reasonable view.

Hotel really close to Picuas Metro station, restaurants and attractions.

Stayed 3 nights here--a quiet area with a smattering of graffiti here and there and a hotel or hostel in each block but the rest mostly residential. At night we only saw a handful of people on the streets - all seemingly tourists looking for their lodging. There are just a few cafes/restaurants in the immediate blocks around the hotel, but there was usually at least one place open between 7 AM and 8 PM, so you could have a little breakfast or dinner with the local residents without paying tourist prices. Hotel room was older, with dated styling and worn furnishings, but fair-sized. Comfy temps, bed, and bath, and very clean. If you are in town for business and don't care about sightseeing, or if you are trying to stick to a budget, I would recommend this location as a fair value for the money, with easy access to transportation that can whisk you to tourist sites in 10-15 minutes.

Hotel was nicely appointed if a little dated. Very comfortable for a short stay. Walking distance to many things in the city.

Great Hotel. Located off the main boulevard about three blocks. Surrounding area seemed residential. One or two buildings in the area run down, but overall neighborhood is nice. Hotel outside appearance small, in between other buildings. Lobby clean and neat, classy look. Check in was great, personnel helpful and welcoming, good English speakers. Room was very clean, large, with double bed, single bed, table, chairs, closet space, drawers, desk and good size bathroom with normal size shower. Towels and linen clean and good condition. Ate Dinner at restaurant, food not very good, bland, did not seem fresh and was expensive. Metro stop (Picoas) located about two-three blocks away, 4-5 min walk, as well as others close by (Saldanha). Easy walking distance to coffee/pastry shops, restaurants, local markets. 10-15 min walk to main Hop-on Hop-off bus stop (Stop1) at Marques de Pomal. Hotel not in the main tourist area of Baixa or the restaurant district which is nice if you would like to get away to a more quite area in the evening, Taxi from Airport cost only 11 Euros!. We road the metro back to the Airport which was really easy. Did notice there are a lot of Turim Hotels in the city and all seemed to have good locations.

Late night check-in service was quick and drinking water ready at check-in counter. Room was very spacious, clean and functional. Great value for money and within easy reach by taxi from airport. relative. Highly recommended

This hotel seems to be in the residential area which is fine by us. If you’re lucky, you may find parking on the street. The front staff is friendly
