Ocean High by Capital Vacations

We arrived at the resort at 6:20 as we were informed check in was at 6pm. The office was closed. We called the phone number and a very pleasant woman helped us get the key to get into our unit. There are a LOT of stairs. Everything is up or down stairs, the entrance, the main room, bedrooms, bathrooms, if you have a problem with stairs, this is not for you at all. The inside steps seemed a little steep. The unit is older, clean, well maintained. Great view of the water. The fireplace did not work. Everything else worked fine. The staff was very pleasant at check out. Overall it was a good stay, but I’m not sure if I would stay here again because of all the stairs.

Everything was great. The cono had a fireplace, full kitchen and a jacuzzi tub, great place to take a family.

This property is a timeshare resort not a regular hotel, so you get a unit with a kitchen and a laundry machine. I was very grateful to have been upgraded to a unit by the water. So the view was excellent. I was able to fish just outside. We arrived on Thanksgiving day, so no one was in the office, but I was given instructions on how to get the key and go to our unit from their lockbox. Getting to the unit was tricky. We were searching for our unit for a few minutes. Our instructions were a bit confusing but I finally figured it out. There are 2 buildings on it hand marked 503 or 502. I found the building where our unit was and then saw the unit number there. It's confusing with all the other condos there. The parking is tight and limited. I enjoyed our stay none the less. It was great to be by the water and have a relaxing view of it from the unit. I would recommend this resort.

Nice unit. Well maintained. Check in at 4 - considering it was November - was a little later then expected.

Location, view wonderful. Quiet which was nice. Stayed in unit 2, furniture needs updating in living room and master bedroom. We left with lower back ache after 2 days due to furniture having no support. Sank to the floor on two chairs, sofa not much better. Preferred to sit on hard counter chairs. Mattress in master needs to be replaced. Gas fireplace not operating in master and living room had issues that caused the gas to light and go out with a bang so just turned it off, scary. Check in should be earlier than 6PM. Check out at 12 is great, but should be ready by 4 at least.

Great place! Just need to be aware only the 3 bedroom units have the views.

Loved that it was family friendly, it helped to have a washer and dryer handy with 5 kids, very close to everything will be coming back in the future

Aside from a garbage disposal not working, this property was as advertised! Our family enjoyed our Ocean City vacation very much!

Arriving at our place, we weren’t sure where to go. We had to ask someone else who looked like they just got there where to check in and they helped us out. We were there within the correct times when there was supposed to be someone in the office, but the office was locked. Thankfully there was an afterhours number to contact. The gentleman that helped us out over the phone was very pleasant but he was talking to us like we know the check in procedures for this place. To make light of the situation, I joked that it was like a mysterious scavenger hunt. (Call a guy, he directs you to a box, where you have to enter a combination, etc) He either didn’t like my joke or didn’t get it…he didn’t acknowledge it and stayed to his script. Thankfully we were able to obtain the key and get in. It was a long drive for us and our kids were getting a little stir crazy. The place itself was very nice and well equipped. It is spacious and has a lot of closet space. The only thing strange was how small the toilet area of the bathrooms were. I am tall and have long legs, and when I went to use the toilet, I had to swing my legs sideways to get the door shut! LOL! Also, while it was a nice surprise to find they had a Jacuzzi. Its placement was very strange. It was in a dark area and it was claustrophobic. The kids thought it was awesome but my husband and I decided to skip it. This was our first trip to OCMD and we really enjoyed it.

Everything was great!! No complaints at all.
