Marriott's Ko Olina Beach Club

Everything was perfect and beautiful

We booked a "Mountain View" room, but all we see is a large cement parking structure with some trees poking over the top. Not exactly the relaxing, scenic balcony experience we were hoping for. Is the rest of the property gorgeous? Yes. The pools are fantastic. The beach is lovely. The rooms are spacious and well kept. Just don’t expect the view you paid for—you may or may not get it.

It's too bad when when a Hotel bases your occupancy on your race. We witnessed a white couple get a better hotel room while we were forced to the back of the property even though we asked for an open view room, and paid for it! I think they should do better. Don't you? We cancelled our timeshare presentation and will book with with another property that isn't so racist.

So nice to be able to walk the pathway every morning. The lagoons and pools were great for swimming.

We stayed at the Marriott Ko Olina for a week in July 2025. It was a wonderful experience. My only wish is that there were more meatless options at the two property restaurants. It was very frustrating to see that I had only 1 or 2 options at these places. (For the on-site Luau I was able to order a Beyond Burger - not sure why that wasn't available all the time.) Thankfully, the restaurants at the Ko Olina Center - a mile walk - had things I could eat. (Mekiko Cantina - only did take out until 5pm, 808 Craft House - they deliver to Ko Olina places, and the Monkey Pod had more options than the resort. We also had breakfast at Eggs 'N Things - great food!) The Market at the Marriott had souvenirs, sunscreen, and some hot food. We had the breakfast sandwiches and tea and coffee. We booked through RedWeek which went smoothly. Our room for 2 was called a studio. It had a lovely balcony where we spent a lot of time relaxing and eating. There was a microwave, mini fridge and freezer, coffee maker, electric kettle, and hair dryer. There were also a couple other appliances for cooking that we didn't use. Our building had free laundry, ice, and a fitness room. There is also a larger fitness room in another building. We used the pools, hot tub, and free beach chairs - we didn't rent the umbrellas or canopy things. We didn't use the public grills, but many people did. We used Uber to travel around the island because we didn't want to worry about paying parking fees and such. We did rent a car through Turo for a day to drive to the other side of the island and the North Shore.

We have had the pleasure of staying at Marriott's Ko Olina Beach Club several times over the past 15 years and have been continuously pleased with the experience. The rooms are well designed for the role that they serve -- the kitchens have what you need, the balconies are spacious and offer great views, and beds are comfortable. We had some minor problems on our most recent stay; the maintenance staff were great and very dedicated to solving the small problems we faced. The property itself offers several pools and plenty of loungers on the beach. Chairs by the pool are sometimes hard to find, but our experience was the people generally began to clear out by 3, so spaces would open up. We never had a problem finding chairs on the beach. The four coves are linked by a walkway that allows for some very pleasant walks. We look forward to returning to Marriott's Ko Olina Beach Club in the future.

We have been owners with Marriott Vacation Club at Ko Olina and Newport Coast for 20 years. We purchased from the Marriott Home Office in Florida, after reading Timeshares for Dummies and Timeshares: To Buy or Not to Buy. Obviously, we bought. :o) We rarely exchange, opting instead to go to our Home Resorts. This review is specifically to commend the excellent landscapers Juanito, Romnick, and Ken. When we chatted this morning around sunrise, they thanked me for visiting and presented me the gifts of a beautiful flower and some delicious pineapple snacks that I enjoyed at the beach. The work these wonderful men put into making our resort fabulous is just unmatched. The surroundings are so impeccable they don’t look real. And we’ve been here during an earthquake and through several storms. Gentlemen, thank you for making Marriott Ko Olina perfect every time we visit, and to the entire Marriott Ko Olina Ohana, Mahalo! :o)

The water, beach, grounds & pool very beautiful

The room is very tiny and very basic. There barely any room on the balcony and the furniture not comfortable at all. The distance to walk to shops or eat a car was needed. We came here for our anniversary and nothing mentioned or placed in our room like we Experience everywhere yearly -it’s very expensive here for the room

The beach here is shell shaped and extremely beautiful. The resort is located well away from the crowds of Waikiki Beach. The rooms are expansive and grounds are beautiful. There are a few great restaurants nearby and the pool on site is good but not great.
