The Victorian House

Great place to stay for one. Room was not modern but it was very clean and cosy. not very well soundproofed but was still good for focusing on work at the desk. No obvious ways to adjust heating but there was honestly no need to. The temperature was just perfect somehow or rather. Windows can also be opened.

It was a great experience to stay at this hotel. For us it was the perfect location in Central Glasgow with walking distance to the train station. The hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming and allowed us to use the dining area to store our bikes. Rooms are nice and airy if you get the top floors.

Room 13 was a cute single room with an interesting view. Due to technical issues I had to move down to room 54. 54 had a less pleasant view and it smelt of damp. Even leaving the window didn't help. The location was good for transport links and the reception team were super friendly. Value for money and I would stay again.

Really great accommodation! My room was hyper comfy and the reception was really helpful when I needed to print documentation. Without asking anything, my room was upgraded for the same price. I highly recommend this place!

Beautiful Hotel! Enjoyed our stay and very sad that we could only book and stay one night. Spotlessly clean bed, bedding, room and bathroom. We were fortunate to recieve an extremely large and spacious double room (with the lovely surprise of a gorgeous almost superking size bed). Easily one of the best rooms we have ever stayed in any hotel in Glasgow! And we are fussy. Reception staff both day and night were both very friendly. We had a few lovely chats which made the stay feel even more welcoming. We will most certainly book again for our future Glasgow visits!

Really great value for money as the location is convenient and the breakfast was pretty good (hot food and buffet style). The hotel is no frills but perfect for staying after a night out in Glasgow

The hotel has no luxuries but is pleasant, quiet, comfortable and clean. Breakfast is basic but with enough choices to cover different tastes.

Ideal base but stairs, so not good for someone with mobility issues. Large foyer and breakfast area. Cooked breakfast served, so restricted amount. Cereals, bread and spreads and good coffee freely available. Room small but for price ideal with all facilities with ensuite shower/wc, TV, kettle.
