Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Lubbock, TX

Not at all as what is described. This MOTEL is pure trash! Dirty linens, smelly room, cery poor condition and badly maintained!

This is the dirtiest chain hotel that I have ever seen. I chose to stay there because I was driving late and tired. This hotel popped up and I have stayed in Radissons in other towns before that put this to shame. The first room that I was given (Rm 224) had lights that didn't work, a bathroom that looked like it was under construction and no towels in the room and was totally unacceptable for the $100 that I had paid to stay. I went down to the desk and asked for another room. He asked asked what was wrong with this room and I asked him if he'd ever been in that room and explained everything that was wrong. He then gave me a key to a new room #104. I went to the new room and immediately noticed that once again there weren't any towels in the bathroom and went back to the front desk. He handed me a set of towels that turned out to be old and frayed.. Upon returning to my new room, #104, I noticed a bug shooting on the comforter, torn trim, sorry carpet, a slightly better bathroom and no remote for the television. At this point it was after 1:00 a.m. and I was done. I killed the bug and checked the bed for any signs of bedbugs which I didn't see. I pulled the sheets and comforter off and just crashed on the fitted sheet. I got about 3 hours of sleep and kept hearing doors slamming in the hotel so I finally just got up and left. I have read other reviews of this property and am wondering if the people that have them 10 pts even stayed here. Worst ever!

The place was clean and everybody was friendly unfortunately everything was broken when we got there the air conditioner in the room didn’t work. They fixed it right away, but the icemaker was broken. There were no towels in the room. The swimming pool had so much chlorine in it that we couldn’t use it for four days, and the hot tub was broken. The bathroom in the swimming pool area was out of order. The breakfast, the chafing dish was broken so the egg patties and sausage patties were cold. They had the exact same thing every day. The waffle maker was broken.

Online photos are all FAKE. Maybe photo of another hotel. 6.5 stars..Joke. No towels. Used floor towel to dry. Both Bad Uncomfortable, AC Load noise. Tv remote not work. Woke up, roaches around the floor. No ice. Breakfast dry and tasteless. No phone to call front desk. Embarrassment!!

We stayed for a weekend getaway, there was only one towel in the room. No hand towls. There was no ice machine, hot tub broken, pool was cloudy with way to much chlorine. You can hear everything in the hallway, gap on door is to high. We enjoy staying at country inn but this one is definitely not worth the money.

This hotel was absolutely deplorable. We have been unable to speak with management as he will not return calls. We did not stay at the hotel and will be disputing the charges in full. Ceiling damage, dried bloody boogers on the wall, pubic hairs on bed & tub, dirty mirror, missing iron, broken hangers, smoke smell everywhere in a non-smoking hotel, filthy phone, floors etc.

This was once a really nice hotel like most Country Inn & Suites but it is so run down it is disgusting!!! Pretty sure someone was murdered or something bad happened in my first room.  It had blood stains everywhere and leftover caution tape on the ceiling.  I was given a different room which was better but still disgusting and stains all over the chair and bed skirt.  I do not recommend staying here and the pictures online are not true to reality this is not a nice place to stay.
