"Disastrous customer service."

They have no clue what 4 star hotel customer service looks like. Felt like a cheap motel 8 with an attitude. They were insulting (did not believe I had a reservation for the price I actually paid for on Hotels.com and in fact tried to charge me a 15% extra service fee after running a whole bunch of math on a calculator in front of me showing how cheap I got the room.) The also did not accept my workmate because they did not have the same type of ID as I did. Also, they asked for an extra 300RMB for deposit instead of taking a credit card hold. So in the morning I waited for 30 minutes for a moody employee to as slowly as possible return the 300RMB deposit.

"Well located close proximity to fashion markets."

Very limited service provided by staff, this is the second time we have stayed at this Hotel for four nights this year due to its location. The Restaurant on the third floor we dined at one evening and was extremely disappointing, the food very poor quality.

"Terrible staff"

We went there to stay for 3 nights on the last day we have reqested for late check out, So the night before they told us the price XXXX. On the day that we are in a hurry to check out to catch our flight they charge us ALMOST DOUBLE THE PRICE that they have told us. What can I do even I complain my credit card deposit in in their hand. BE CAREFUL WITH THIS HOTEL. WORST HOTEL I HAD EVER STAY IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. Even the staff are insulting us in Chinese. They thought that we cant understand Chinese.

"Exellent hotel in a poor location"

The hotel and rooms are excellent. But location is poor. It is close to Guangzhou Central Railway Station but that's an old area with few tourist facilities around. McD is the only food outlet nearby.

"did not enjoy my stay"

I Have been staying in this hotel quite regularly ,almost every 1.5 months on an average. Most staff is familiar that i am a regular guest. However this time my experience was bad. I lost my room keys & i was "Charged" 30 RMB for issuing a new key. I have traveled at least 20 countries & hundreds of hotels but never came across a hotel charging money for a duplicate key. I use this hotel only because of convenience & business reasons. The toilets stink, air conditioning never works properly.

"Clean and fairly priced!"

The stay was comftorable and the price was fair for the quality of the hotel. If you are into fashion than this is the place to stay but if you are out to see the sights then you may look elseware. I have stayed at this hotel many times for my anual visits to the Canton trade fair. It is clean well run but the neighborhood is filled mainly with retail and wholssale fashion accessories. If that's your thing or if you are here to do business than this is a good buy!

"Not that great"
