Liuhua Hotel

2 unpleasant things First minor setback when entering room for first time, there was very strong old-cigarette-smell (despite asking for non-smoking room on booking and again at reception before getting room) but luckily I brought own air-freshener So this was easy to solve.But a 2nd & more disappointing setback is zero internet access in rooms despite the hotel advertised as free wifi in rooms. Yes there was free wifi but not internet access. Complaining to reception staff didnt help; they just told me to use the free wifi in the hotel lobby. On the plus-points; the Chinese restaurant called Wen Hua on the second floor serves very good chinese food and the rooms are comfortable, spacious with amenities quite complete (except for no internet access) The location also quite convenient near train station and metro

wheel chair bound person is not to be recommended. # 1 METRO is on the other side and no disable facility in crossing .Only means is overhead bridge.#2 Taxi queing at hotel is not helpful once they see wheel chair person. one by one move out with all excuses.

Good hotel

The staff were indifferent none of the staff ever greeted us! The "Assistant Manager" were extremely rude.

The hotel is located in the central of fashion wholesale centre market. However, unless you are here for this kind of business trip, you might be disappointed as most of them don't entertain walk in customers for retailing. The hotel is located next to MRT, railway & also bus terminals. The environment is very crowded & busy. Not suitable for family with small kids.

Did not have the ammenities that you would expect. Currency exchange was not always available. Buffet was overpriced. Rooms were adequate. No shampoo, too few towels, and not much soap. I waited a very long time at the 3rd floor restaurant. I ordered 3 items. One was served after about 15 minutes, the next 20 minutes later, and I gave up and left before getting the 3rd item. It would have been nice to get all three at once or in close proximity.

One of bad hotels I stayed in. Recommend others to find out better hotel

Disgusting. I think they hate Americans. The front desk was so rude and every part of thwe hotel smelled like an ashtray

Everything very bad... Never stay this hotel next time.
