Aspen Suites

We stayed in a 1-bedroom king suite with a king bed and a sleeper sofa. The king bed was probably the most comfortable hotel bed I've ever slept in! It was SO soft. Our room also had a full kitchen which we didn't need but was very nice and surprising. Everything was clean. Breakfast was also good and my kids enjoyed the swimming pool. We stayed because my daughter was dancing at the civic center and the hotel was literally just down the road about 6 blocks? Took less than 5 mins to get there and was super convenient!

The sleeper sofa in our room was about as comfortable as sleeping on a pile of shoes - my husband's words, and he's not picky so I know it must've been bad! It could definitely use some sort of added cushion unless only little kids are sleeping on it. Also the bathroom door lock was broken so the door didn't shut completely. In the breakfast area there is only 1 waffle maker so it takes a long time to get your breakfast if there is a line. And it was REALLY hot in there. The parking garage is under ground and a little ridiculous. They should just get rid of it and the lot outside a build a ramp. Overall though, we would definitely stay at this hotel again!

Aspen Suites were a very nice place to stay. We had largest family suite so it was very large. The room was clean and well stocked with amenities.

Limited parking, breakfast was constantly out of the hot food. Not much for choices for kids small pool no chairs and pool area but four.

The staff is lacking good sense. My "patio" style window wouldn't lock, and the gentleman at the desk grudgingly agreed to come try it before hanging up on me. He couldn't lock it either, and offered maintenance but not until morning. After voicing safety concerns he said nobody could really walk there before he bolted for the door, which is highly debatable as it butts up to their partner hotel with accessible concrete and a short picket type fence. I didn't change rooms nor was I robbed or beaten, but sensitivity to a lone traveling woman's concerns could be handled vastly better. I won't book here again on future visits.

They provide a nice breakfast and during the week they provide a light dinner, ex. A sandwich with chips one night, chili another, etc.. Wash machines and dryers are complimentary. The free shuttle to Mayo’s works great and there is no charge for parking. We had a great stay, the hotel was perfect for our stay of nine days.

We loved the facility. Lobby was very nice and comfortable. Room was also nicely furnished and kitchen had dishes, dishwasher, microwave, and fridge. Staff was super friendly and professional. Breakfast was delicious and offered many different choices. Best of all, the location was great with hospital across the street, shuttle to downtown Mayo campus, and a great restaurant next door.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Aspen Suites in Rochester. It was easy to find and accessible to everything we needed. The gentleman at check-in was AMAZING! The room was spacious and well appointed. The bed was super comfy! We missed the "dinner", but breakfast was delish! The pool and hot tub were a little small, but that's not what we were there for. I highly recommend staying here!
