Odyssey of South Beach Apart Hotel

Wasn’t what I expected. Bathroom door didn’t close. When you figured out how to close it it automatically locked. So if you were alone you were stuck

The reviews on this hotel are very misleading! There was no on site housekeeping and we had to goto the store and buy our own wash clothes. The walls are extremely thin and there were people screaming in the halls all times of the night. The hot water took 20 Minutes to get hot and the doors don’t shut all the way. BEWARE !!!!! DO NOT BOOK

Good location

Parking was very expensive. No workers to bring clean towels etc. Overall still a great stay and location.

The hotel is not clean. There was syrup on the countertops and food on the bed sheets. I went to CVS and bought cleaning supplies just to make it sanitary. Would not recommend.

Need recycle bin for empty bottles on front door area. Suggest to separate trash and recycle bins to save environment.

I had read reviews that this place was too small or that it didn’t look like the pictures. But honestly it was super spacious! The bed was comfortable, the towels and everything was very good. Due to COVID they didn’t have microwaves or ice available but that’s u detestable... it’s walking distance to south beach and Walgreens which was amaZing! And it’s a part of the beach where the bathrooms are so this was super convenient. I would come back! We’ve stayed at bnbs that have been much muchhhhh tighter rooms than this, so I don’t think this room is small at all.

I liked how easy it was to check in. I did not like that people did not follow the mask rule in public areas and there were no employees to remind them

This is in a very sketchy part of south beach. My friend and I were scared to walk down the street alone. Constantly got cat called by groups of men and we were grabbed at. Didn’t feel safe at all and will definitely not be returning to this hotel.

We could not stay at this property upon arrival due to a sticky floor and musty, mildew smell in the lobby. The unacceptable conditions continued into the room. There was visible mold, an overwhelming mildew smell, a window left ajar, and broken door handles. Oh did I mention the room looks NOTHING like the pictures advertised online? Spend more money and book a different place. It’s been 3 weeks since my stay and I still haven’t received my refund for the stay. I travel abroad and domestically all the time but this is the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. It also ruined what was supposed to be a fun bachelorette weekend for my friend. Thanks for nothing Odyssey of South Beach!!
