Imperial Hotel Gold Coast

We recently rebooked after our last 1 star stay. I was assured that the previous issues were resolved. There was once again dust all through the room and mould in the air conditioner. Our 2 pm check-in was late, the staff kindly swapped rooms. We waited 30 mins for our bags which were sent to the previous room, I had to call and organise this. It was disappointing to see the staff using their mobile phones in the dining area and when walking around. You could tell the staff were not happy. Our toilet ran out water constantly in our suite and the air conditioner was very noisy. The age in our room was very poor, additionally there was no minibar or snacks available to purchase. The hotel is looking more and more run down, which was a tell sign due to the hotel being practically empty. The Sheraton across the road was extremely busy and the staff very attentive. Our stay package wasn’t in the system and I had to explain the pricing to the staff for 20 mins whilst showing email evidence.

The hotel is showing its age with most of the furnishing scratched or ripped and needs a refurbishment. Good food, excellent first class service and awesome gym. There was a wedding on, so unfortunately we were not allowed to use the pool and very dissappointing

Property was impressive to say the least. The Staff were very helpful and friendly and while we didn't use the dining facilities of an evening, the breakfast buffet was delicious and dining room service exceptional!

I had an absolutely amazing stay at The Imperial Hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming, attentive, and made me feel right at home. The rooms are beautiful, comfortable, and perfectly maintained. The pool area was stunning – such a relaxing and Instagram-worthy spot! I loved spending time there, enjoying the vibe and the scenery. The overall atmosphere of the hotel is chic, calm, and perfect for a getaway. I highly recommend The Imperial Hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable stay. I can’t wait to come back!

This property is in a perfect location for me. A lovely hotel, although I feel that the rooms are getting tired and could do with an upgrade.

Loved our stay. Room service was hit and miss. My fiancé loved his wagyu pappardelle however my chicken was so overcooked it was inedible. The big spa bath was a great feature. Pillows aren’t actually pillows… they’re blankets folded up and put into pillow cases. Wasn’t the best for my neck. Overall though, we loved our stay and will be staying there again!

Our room had a very bad water damaged cabinet which is central in the room which was a bit ordinary and detracted a lot from what should be a high end quality hotel, seeing this old water damage and the age of the some of the furniture in room made us feel somewhat disappointed. There was nothing is the room from snacks to drinks etc and on arrival they take a $300 deposit I’m not sure what for? Staying at the QT would be a much more enjoyable stay. The actual hotel, lobby, reception and pool area is absolutely beautiful on arrival 2 beautiful Rolls Royces parked out side and all your thoughts are wow until we got to the room. The photos online are definitely much nicer and seeing the property I’m sure they have some great rooms maybe because we booked through Expedia and got a discounted rate we got a room that matched the rate.

I stayed last week at the Imperial Hotel and it was exceptional. From the moment I arrived, the service was flawless, every detail was taken care of with genuine warmth and professionalism. The hotel is stunning, with beautiful spaces that feel grand and inviting. High Tea at Le Jardin was a standout, absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. I enjoyed every bite! The rooms are spacious, luxurious, and immaculately clean, I truly loved every moment of my stay. And I can’t forget to mention the buffet breakfast — it’s a dream! There’s everything you could possibly imagine… and then some. Even the gluten-free options were genuinely delicious, which is so rare to find. Do yourself a favour and stay here ❤️

We had a wonderful 3 nights stay at the Imperial. Everything from arrival at the palacial entrance to the stunning foyer, bars and restaurants, lagoon and rooms was first class. All the staff we encountered were excellent - so friendly, professional and helpful. Particular thanks to Paul, Guy and Mason. We will be back here.

We booked a standard room for a night for a birthday celebration. The room was quite nice and large. The beds were so comfortable. There was no noise from other guests and the staff were exceptional. The breakfast in the morning was delightful.
