My wife and I hosted our wedding room block at this hotel, along with our Sangeet welcome party on the Las Brisas Terrace, and we couldn’t have been happier with our experience. From start to finish, the staff provided outstanding service and helped us tremendously with planning, logistics, and quickly handling any last-minute questions or requests. We are really appreciative of the great service from Mariela, Rocio, Alejandra, along with the rest of the team. The Las Brisas Terrace is a beautiful venue with an incredible view of the beach and sunset. It created the perfect backdrop for our event. The food was also fantastic — we hosted an Indian-themed welcome party, and the kitchen did an amazing job preparing both the Indian dishes and the American barbecue options. Our guests were very impressed with the quality and variety. Our guests (and us too) absolutely loved staying here for the weekend. The easy beach access with chairs and umbrellas, the pool, and the breakfast buffet were all major highlights. I’ve visited Puerto Rico many times, and I would highly recommend Courtyard by Marriott Isla Verde Beach Resort for anyone planning a vacation or looking for wedding accommodations, room blocks, or event space. They played a big role in making our wedding weekend so memorable.

We had issues with housekeeping three out of the six days.

No microwave Was not worth what we paid

1) the noise in the room (700) due Airport traffic avoids to rest, air traffic don't stop during the night 2) we had a problem with bedbugs, we try to explain in reception and the room service changed the bed sheets, but the issue continues, hotel people told us that it was due mosquitoes, I explained that was impossible due allocations of some stings and only affect to my wife and me, my kid slept in the crib and no stings 3) After 7pm (approx.) it wasn't impossible to stay in the outside bar, insect plage cover all 4) we seated in outside bar at 5:40 the waitress brought us the menu, after 20-25 minutes waiting when the waitress return for order it wasn't possible due the menu change at 6:00 pm, we ordered in the room through room service

Staff was polite and attentive, but didn't go above and beyond to help me....something I'm accustomed to at this price point. Hotel was under renovation....somewhat annoying.

We had our wedding room block and welcome party here at the hotel and it was truly PERFECT. Our guests all had an amazing time and raved about the experience. For the hotel - it truly had everything our guests needed: beach front access with free chairs/umbrellas, 24 hour pool + hot tub + free towels, multiple restaurants, bars and a cafe, a casino, parking garage and event space. There is a grocery store closed by and it’s close enough to uber anywhere around San Juan. For a destination wedding the value of everything is unbeatable for guests. I also need to mention the renovations are STUNNING. I need to give a huge thanks to Amnel and Mariela who we worked with over this past year. Amnel was amazing to work with for our welcome event on Las Brisas terrace, he was so professional and SUPER helpful every step of the way from touring, to curating the bar/food menu and the floor plan. Mariela helped us with the room block and preparing for our guests. She was always so courteous and polite when reaching out for updates and was more than happy to assist with any other questions or recommendations we needed. These two really made our experience with the hotel so easy and I can highly recommend the courtyard because of them!

We are leaving this hotel now and we stayed for 2 nights. I wasn’t sure what to expect from a Courtyard resort but it’s very nice here. The lobby is very nice, there is a small food bistro, and lobby bar. Multiple elevators so we never needed to wait. The pool area over spring break could have used more chairs, however when we looked for chairs we did find some. Beach attendants were great and you were able to get beach chairs and umbrellas during your stay. The view is great. Make sure you book ocean front. Not ocean view if you really want an amazing view. We were second floor ocean front and loved it. We specifically booked this resort over others in the area because we wanted a balcony we can sit at. It was perfect and the sun rose to the side so we could enjoy peaceful mornings on the deck. The only cons we had with this resort was the food, and lack of outlets in the room. There is one sit down restaurant where the options weren’t too great and it’s expensive. The 2 bar type restaurants were fine, but had limited healthy options. Drinks are expensive as would be imagined for a resort. We ended up ordering room service a bit because we liked some of the options better and it actually seemed more affordable. Another item I tried to research before booking was the noise due to being next to the airport. You do hear the planes taking off. Especially when you are at the pool/beach. It’s not a big deal but just wanted to let you know. In the room, the sliding glass patio door was doubled up for sound and it helped keep noises out. The air conditioner in the room is very loud. I am a light sleeper and I was able to sleep with it but it is loud and we needed to have tv on loud. But the loud AC helped with the airplane noise and while I noticed it from time to time it wasn’t bothersome and I slept great both our nights. Wrist bands are impossible to take off. We would return on a future trip.
