Douglas Inn & Suites

Was a quiet stay but the breakfast was horrible. No milk for the cereal, fruit was rotten, muffins were stale. Pool looked like a septic tank. Pictures online are old pictures and need to be updated. Got great photos but it won't let me add them.

Toilet seat was crack with tape over it, pool was green and unusable. Found hair still in bed and a pillow. Room was very spacious though.

Room smelled strong of deodorant spray but clean.

Economical choice, nice/thoughtful owners, fenced in. Pool not maintained, decor dated, but clean. Very close to 'town', all necessities provided.

Dirty room and rude employees.

We used this hotel for an overnight stay on our way to another destination. In general, the room was pretty clean, but the bathroom had a mold problem and the pool was not functioning at the time of our visit. Also, the breakfast was stale cereal and prepackaged muffins that was not particularly appetizing. Overall, if you need a place to rest your head for the night and you're not overly allergic to mold, then this is a perfectly okay place to lay your head for the night. Don't be fooled by the free breakfast or the pool. Both of those are overrated. I will say that the couple that runs the motel is very friendly and happy to help with anything that you ask.

The pool was very dirty and was not usable. In the photos online it showed a very clean pool so they lied about that. I booked two connecting rooms and the property owners didn't want to give us what we booked at first. I had to argue with them. The washer and dryers didnt not work

The motel is a bit dated. The room was spacious. We had the room with a full kitchen, it was stocked with plates and utensils. Good place for the price

The room was clean. That’s all I can say that is good about this place. The service was not great I felt like I was an inconvenience to the man in the office that couldn’t speak English other than to bark at me “name” “driver’s license “ “credit card “ etc. the pool is nasty! If your not going to keep it up drain it.

This place is disgusting!!! The pictures online MUST be from when they originally opened. The pool is a literal swamp and is closed permanently- definitely not the nice, inviting blue that is pictured online. We were assigned room 108; the room was extremely hot and reeked of ammonia, hair product, and cat pee. My husband looked at me, and said, ‘Let’s get out of here,’ and I was in complete agreement. The owner/manager refused to refund our money, even though we’d only received the key minutes before. He offered to move us, but there’s no way any room on the run-down property would have been any better. Definitely no free breakfast. Completely different than how it is advertised. Please save your money and stay somewhere else. Ive never had such a bad experience at anywhere. It was like a bad movie, in which we were being punked. I only wish I’d taken pictures of how bad things truly are.
