Douglas Inn & Suites

The room was horribly painted with multiple colors. It was on bad shape. In my checkin the man who checked me in - I couldn’t understand him. We did not feel safe- so I gave him back the keys and hopefully get my money back! The room was gross and misrepresented in contrast to the pictures on the website. I told him I would be in touch.

The pool was dirty. Couldn't find my reservation. Room was ok.

The property is in extremely poor shape. We went through 4 different rooms before settling on one because there were major issues in each room, such as the toilet seat broken (couldn't sit on it), toilet not really flushing, cockroaches, and lights in the restroom so dim they were practically not functional. We settled on a room that was ok for the night, but it was still in bad condition. It smelled bad (so did the other rooms, possibly of cigarettes), everything eas dirty, simple things like hooks or toilet roll holders were broken, the paint job was extremely poor, the plastic baseboard was peeling off, one of the paintings over the bed was crooked and the other missing (but the velcro residue was there), and the list goes on. Also, something really important to note, the manual door lock was broken/missing! The pool is green and unkept. Breakfast consists of practically the exact amount of mandarins, oranges, and yogurts as our group had. The staff was nice in trying to accomodate us, but didnt speak English well. They were not surprised at all and had no reaction when we pointed out all of these things.

The pool is full of Green Goop, you can't use it. The "prodived" breakfast was left on the counter from the day I checked in.

Front desk people did not listen, the rooms were nothing like the website, dust was heavy on the vent in the bathroom, light bulb was blown in the bathroom, shower tub was very slippery, hole behind the door had clear tape on it-was not patched or anything, the pool was very nasty

Price was reasonable but the age of the motel is telling but not bad for the price. Especially when compared to local chain hotel prices

There was NO pool!

The pool was absolutely dirty, the staff welcomed us in socks. And the breakfast was cereal and muffins but no milk to go with the cereal. Or any other refreshments for breakfast.
