We liked the location, it was close (15-20 min walk) to some beautiful beaches (Playa Blanca and Playa Negra), the staff were friendly and the rooms were comfortable. The food was tasty. We liked how there were snacks and cold beverages available to buy in our room as there’s no nearby shops. There’s a pool available, however didn’t use it.

There’s no toilet in the common area so when you arrive from the boat at 9am, you’re left with nowhere to go to the toilet until your room is available at 1pm. The toilet, shower and sink had very low water pressure and no hot water, it took 15-30 minutes to flush the toilet each time. Also there was no bathroom door for privacy.

The hotel is really beautiful. The beach beneath the hotel is great for swimming and snorkeling, also connect with other beaches. So you can explore more areas from here.

Apparently the hotel is going to a new administration. So you can see the lack of maintenance from previous owners. The common areas needs to be attended.

Food was good even though under-cooked on a couple of occasions but that was rectified.

The beach is littered with garbage so that first impression was awful. No-one greets you at the beach and you are left to your own devices to find the stairwell and haul your bags up the steep and long stairs.

It is located in a beautiful place, near the beach. The staff is superb!

Location and at 50 dolar it was value option in a place where cheap options are unavailable. I went for solo kayaking and enjoy the sea, the kayaks they had were pretty ok. So I got what I wanted. If you look for fun and activities outside that, that might not be the place.

The service provided by the only 2 people in charge of the hotel (Piedad & Veronica).

The lack of hot water (by design), the lack of water during 2 days in a row, the lack of personnel, the garbage on the beach, the limited food options in the restaurant.

Stunning location within a 30 min walk along the shore to 10+ beautiful beaches that we had entirely to ourselves. The staff was incredible and we were well taken care of during our stay.

They do not have potable water, so we had to purchase bottles from the restaurant at a premium. They do offer a $5 per day/person unlimited water package but this was listed on the back of the breakfast menu, not lunch/ dinner, and we’re not aware until we noticed this the morning we checked out. The location is very remote, unless you bring your own food/drinks you are 100% reliant on the restaurant for meals. We did walk through the jungle to the local grocery store but our options were very limited. The Wi-Fi is very inconsistent, which was not an issue for us on vacation, just a note if you were planning on working remotely it will be very difficult. There is a very steep staircase to get from the beach to the accommodations, and smaller flights between areas within the property all without sturdy handrails, if you have mobility concerns this is soy to consider.

Amazing experience, the hotel is in the rainforest. Direct access to a private beach. Access to kayaks and paddle boards for free. Swimming pool. Friendly staff.

The high humidity of the rainforest makes the room very humid too. There should be a walkable pathway to visit the local village.
