Lugar muy lindo. Desayuno bueno. Cuartos confortables.

The restaurant: the cook is doing a very good job, but he's alone without any help and is very difficult for him to manage the number of requests. we had to wait for quite a long time (30 min to 1 hour) to have our orders. The beach is quite dirty, with lots of plastic and rubbish from the ocean: it would be really good to do some periodic cleaning. customers would definitely appreciate that. No cushions on the chairs in the room's terrace, makes it difficult to use them. The swimming pool's water could have been better (not 100% clean/transparent). I would have appreciated to know in advance about the water cuts, not after the check-in. All these details would be expected in a hotel of this level and price, and it would make a real difference.

"Very poor"

La playa, la habitación, la vista.

La comida, las amenidades no tienen mantenimiento, sillas dañadas, lugares sucios. La atención y la comunicación. Cortaban el agua por períodos y ni cumplían con los horarios de corte.

The hotel is located in the forest, you go down 20m steps to the beach. Boat and surfboards provided. The swimming pool and the decor inside the property are similar to the Balinese one, for those who come it is ideal to disconnect from the stressful image of the service and the urban environment of the city. Cold water program (without hot water) during the day and at night at 21:00 it stops until morning. The master chief Titi was the best, plus he takes care of almost everything there (organization). The king room was bigger, very nicely furnished and decorated, the bed was very comfortable. The balcony with 2 sun beds made from plastic wire very comfortable and here you can see the entire forest and the sea.

- No hot water - No wifi internet in the room or to the balcony - Transfer from the ferry pier by boat from the hotel (extra cost) but safety 0 - missing life vests - Entering the water from the beach is risky both on the tide, rocks, boulders, and tree trunks taken by the waves (all the beaches on the island are the same) - Because the ferry broke down and we changed to a 2nd ferry, then this one also broke down, we waited 3 hours in the port until they brought another one, no one was waiting for us and we came on foot. The road is with rocks and earth, at one point the signs indicating the direction of the hotel were in a bamboo with the wrong direction. We reached a bridge, closed with a chain with padlock, we went through the forest, on the beach, then through the premises of another property (with dogs), on the road again to Saboga Lodge in the end. (And with backpacks after us) / We don't have access to internet to announce the propriety for the new scheduled of the ferry (Las Perlas)

Perfect peacful location. Friendly staff, I didnt have much spanish words but they tried to help me as best as they could. Fillet fish at lunch amazing. The ocean sounds. The birds. Exploring the island

More communication about the water running out. I dont mind it happening as on remote island but never knew when might run out or come back or was told it would happen, just happened and had to figure it our that it would be a daily thing. Place needs a better house keeping system especially in general areas, cobwebs and dust very visible in reception area. A handrail maybe for elderly guests as saw some struggling on the steps to the beach.

"Great quick getaway, but we will probably not come back."

Beautiful rooms and wonderful staff

The property looks a little more aged than on the pictures, the pool has a film on the water surface and is uninviting and we’ve been told it’s saline treatment, but we believe it’s just dirt. The beach in front of the property has a lot of thrash, but the neighboring beaches are clean. It could use a clean up.

"We took the good with the bad - staff needs training!"

You are surrounded by nature. The room was nicely decorated. The food was good. There are kayaks and stand up paddles available. There are nice terraces to look at the forest/ocean. They had games.

The place is supposed to be peaceful but the staff was super stressed. One of the mornings the manager was having a fight on the phone at 8am in the restaurant. One of the cooks was not patient enough to repeat the food options two times. Upon arrival no one offered us anything to drink or eat at the restaurant until I got up and ask. No one helped with suitcases during check out. There are many steps going down. They can serve the food in different terraces but forget things like water even when we asked for it. The beach is full of plastic and no one seem to clean it while we were there. An umbrella blew the night before with the wind, no staff came to pick it up. Disorganization related to tours, no notification when tour gets cancelled. They miss too many details. Beyond the hotel, the island is isolated and other guests went to a beach nearby the morning we arrived. They got rubbed at gunpoint. They were horrified and we got scared too. Since it's the second stop of the ferry, it was full on the way back and we couldn't seat inside. These two last points, don't have to do with the hotel but are things to consider when choosing a destination.

I contacted the property prior to booking, inquiring about their pet-friendly policy and mentioning that it was our anniversary. They assured us of their best room and a hassle-free experience. However, upon arrival, we faced several issues. We had to pay in advance for a boat transfer, which seemed unnecessary on the island. No one greeted us at the beach, and we had to ask locals for help. The room assigned to us had no lock and a dirty bathroom with no water. Despite paying extra for an early check-in, we couldn't take a shower. After complaining, we were given a bucket to flush the toilet and a bottle of water, but were told not to inform the manager. The offered room in another property also had no water and no Wi-Fi. The manager expected us to go without water for over 24 hours. On check-out, we expected compensation but were asked to pay for our meals. The manager threatened to withhold transportation unless we paid, but relented when we mentioned involving a lawyer. Overall, a negative experience due to the lack of water, poor service, and additional charges.
