Beach Retreat & Lodge at Tahoe

They got good place, good accommodating staffs, good drinks, and most importantly comfortable

Loved the lake and mountain view from my room. The Tiki Bar was conveniently next to my room. The location of the lodge is close to restaurants, banks, grocery store, and retail stores.

The room was clean and comfortable, with a partial lake view. The room overlooked the Tiki Bar, which can be boisterous, but the glass door muffled the noise nicely. Easy access to the beach. All staff pleasant and helpful.

A safe in the room would have been nice but not essential.

Bathroom was terrible

Had to change my room 2 times, door would not lock, plumbing in bathroom not draining

We recently stayed at the Beach Retreat Lodge and overall, the experience was just okay. Check-in could have been more welcoming—a smile from the front desk clerk would go a long way. One of the biggest frustrations was the misleading information we received prior to arrival. The pre-check-in email stated that the resort fee included Wi-Fi, parking, and bike rentals, but when we checked in, the clerk told us that was not correct. This feels misleading to guests and should be addressed. Another big inconvenience was that the elevator in Building E was out of service, which meant we had to haul two large suitcases up the stairs. Not exactly the kind of start you want to your stay. The room itself was fine, though the shower water pressure was very low. The exterior of the building is also showing clear signs of wear and is in need of repair. For the price we paid, we expected a better experience. It wasn’t terrible, but definitely disappointing compared to what was advertised

The cleanliness can be better. The price was a bit high for a night since the room is very small and modest. Location was great!!
