Best Western Plus Milwaukee West

The entire second floor smelled like marijuana from the housekeepers and they were loud and unprofessional. The room smelled like urine. The elevator was filthy, and just dirty in general. The bedding looked clean but, it all made me wonder if everything had been cleaned properly. Dead bolt did not work and neither did the extra flip lock. This place is not worth the $230 a night. That is for sure

The outside of the hotel was off-putting. Staff was kind and friendly. The rooms were nice except for the leaky toilet. It wasn't fun trying to use the bathroom and getting wet socks.

Clean, very good complimentary breakfast, good location -we rode the 18 bus downtown & to the airport (have to transfer) , free shuttle service to the ballpark, but also within walking distance - we cut through the Veterans Affairs Medical Center to go the Brewers game & used the shuttle service after the game. Ate twice at 4th Base Restaurant - great food & atmosphere, enjoyed time spent at National Pizza Pub & Bar in the hotel basement - reasonably priced & great service & food. Free parking but we got around fine the 3 days we were there without a car - only used an Uber to get from the Amtrak station to the hotel.

I liked the few updates they've done. We were by a cleaning closet and someone was banging around and pounding late we were hoping that wasn't going to be going on all night. Pool was large yet dark and dungy. Loved the slate tile and pool tiles! No papertowel in pool bathroom down the hall. Carpet needs replacing. A/C unit ran loud. Hot tub was broke and couldn't use. But the updates that have been done were very nice. Breakfast options were good with a working pancake machine we liked that also thank you.

Very small room. Lots of loud noise outside. Not great area.

This was just a turn around trip for me but the brief time I spent was great.
