A beautiful hotel with a stylish atmosphere. The bar and restaurant have been beautifully restored and the staff are extremely friendly.

The garden was beautiful to sit in. The hotel was very clean and staff helpful and polite.

The Spa was closed 😩

Bar ran out of bottled beer and brandy. Food overcooked (fish)

The bed was large and very comfortable and it was very quiet. I also appreciated the decoration, fixtures and fittings especially the ensuite and cornices.

Can’t think of anything but we didn’t have breakfast as it was a bit early by 9am when we are on holiday

Spa and swimming pool closed Disinterested staff Scalding hot water - may have something to do with excessively hot room despite no heating on and windows open Double bed rather than queen or king Shabby room Breakfast overdone - burnt and dehydrated plus both orders were incorrect

Good staff, clean comfortable room if basic. Beautiful grounds.

No spa. All facilities were closed and no notification prior to arrival. These facilities were the reason for booking here. Very unhappy.

The ball we went to was great, the people the band excellent

£20 for breakfast, asked for an upgraded room and even though the hotel was practically empty on Sunday we stayed in a room with threadbare carpet, chipped furniture, dirty grout and scuffed walls, well overdue som decor
