Americas Best Value Inn Hillsboro

Price was great for a quick shower and few hours sleep. Pros-price, close to places to eat, shop, free breakfast(nothing special but you can get full) Waffles, cereal, fruit, oj, milk, coffee, toast, oatmeal, muffins, etc. Check in and out pretty quick and easy. Cons- ac not on and room very hot- cooled within 2hrs. Needs few minor repairs and the carpet was loose and kinda rolling. Shampoo, conditioner, and soap provided. Only towels for 1 in room. Bed was okay but I have an excellent top line at home so for $50 Id say it's a 4/5 on the bed comfort. If it was a $150 room Id expect a way better room and mattress. Paid less than $50 for 2 ppl to shower, sleep, and have breakfast. It was comfortable, quiet, and a good value for price. If you really want to make a good first and last impression I'd suggest you hire/train a more professional staff. Clean professional Appearance, friendliness, and a smile go a super long way. Unfortunately none of those were represented by the member of staff on duty at check in and same person sprawled out sleeping in chair with hand on crotch as we entered for breakfast. Didn't bother us any but might be offensive to someone else. Maybe put a comfy chair behind the desk and sleep back there. If I don't stay here again it would be because of the staff/service not professional or welcoming. I could take over this place and have all these things in order, repairs made, staff trained in 90days. Light a fire under manager or replace them.

I like the staff services, very good custmer services. The locations maintenence could be better.

I should have listened to the reviews. The bathroom was not clean and there were dead bugs on the floor. My husband opened a drawer and there was half eaten packages of food open. We got to change rooms but didn’t sleep well because the bottom sheet kept coming off the corners of the bed.

Did not clean the room or give clean towels or move trash Stayed to nights, did not get any sleep the first night due to loud music, from up stairs

Didn’t like anything about this stay at all. The bed was broken shower was broken air conditioner knobs were broken. Moved rooms and same thing. Nothing was clean. The whole experience was probably the worst I’ve ever had at any over night stay ever. Couldn’t change motels because regional track meet was in town and needless to say was very disappointed and completely disgusted. Would never recommend this place to anyone and definitely will not go back.

The advertised Premium cable is 6 channels of fuzzy analog broadcast TV. AC sounded like a Jet engine evertime it cam on. Bed was uncomfortable and room was Hot. Might as well of stayed at the Carr Motel and risk infection.

The room is very outdated...clean, needed some repair for sure...did not smell badly bed was a bit soft but clean, room was clean...location was great...places around to eat...was not necessarily noisy..as we were only staying the night it was adequate...needs more work and repair...but could not complain for the price...

Room was very clean. Water pressure in the shower was great.
