Americas Best Value Inn Hillsboro

They have a friendly customer service. The rooms are okay. They were clean and of good value. The rooms do need a little bit of service. I would probably stay there if there’s no other place available.

This place is not like the pictures at all. I think the pictures were taken at the opening of the hotel. Our room was run down! The tub had been repaired who knows how many times. Huge crack in the wall they patched up. The ceiling tiles were disgusting and the carpet looked like it hadn’t been cleaned...ever. I will never stay in an America’s Best again. Something either the name America in it I expect to be of higher standards.

Not clean & ref smelled

Not sure where to start as I don't typically do reviews but under the circumstances I will. Main things were that the floor had not been vacuumed in awhile. Stains/spots on the floor.(and that's all I will say about that !!) There was no toilet paper, Kleenex, etc. There were all types of splatters of who knows what on the walls around the sink and in the bathroom. Bathroom was disgusting as well. The room had an awful smell. When we arrived there were people wandering around outside of the rooms, some of which were obviously under the influence in some way and no security presence. I will NEVER stay here again.

Property in serious need of update and repair. Even non-smoking rooms reek of stale cigarettes. Towels were clean; bed linens were not. New owners/management have work to do.

We stayed here for 4 years and the operators keep saying that they will improve the rooms - we stayed in April 2018 and they have gotten lazy - rooms were not dusted, tv remote was taped together and would only work sometime, fridge didn't work, carpet needs to be replaced, doors need to be fixed but they said that the building is shifting so it needs work??The breakfast is a joke - no fruit etc - just coffee and old bread and waffles. They don't seem to care so it is time to stay somewhere else - adios,

room and broken in the other. Tv, fridge, microwave was unplugged. Lamp shade linings broken or stained. Breakfast only had do it yourself waffles. Had to ask for syrup, utensils, jelly, there were a few loads of bread but no peanut butter or anything to put on it. No fruit. or yogurt like most continental breakfasts.

Was very tired so I stayed. But it was "grubby" not dirty as such but not what I expected. Very noisy, but I can sleep through most things. WiFi was very bad, luckily I had my own portable hot spot. Breakfast was minimal. Only saving grace was a great cup of coffee in the dining room. Won't bother again will continue on.

another good stay - the location is next to the highway so we now use ear plugs , the staff is very friendly and always accomodating, we arrived early but our room was ready. shopping is close by. It is a good place to spend the night as the bed is comfortable
