The ambience at entry - the lobby

No consideration for early check in especially when the room was available. Had to wait hours in the lobby for no good reason.

Well the people were nice, the house keeper was excellent and very helpful. The young man by the free coffee bar was very kind and tried his best to make sure we were happy.

At check in they had problems and took 3 people to figure it out. No free Continental breakfast. The Television blacked out on some stations. There is no privacy in the bathroom. The hallways are painted so dark.

Attentive team.

That attentive team didn't have the support of the property managers (owners?) - the place is a little run down - far from the image of Aloft being a cool, hip place to stay.
