The location was ok, the staff where friendly, the hotel was clean and looked to have been recently renovated.

The value for money was poor, very expensive for a tiny twin room with a very small bathroom. I understand the hotel was full due to an event in Carlisle, but the room and hotel in general certainly not worth 300 quid!!

The hotel is very well situated for access to all of the local attractions but is also within a leafy residential setting. Parking was good and space within the hotel is very generous. The reception space is welcoming and our room had everything we could need to make our stay very comfortable.

There was nothing to dislike.
