Bathroom door broken at top, and water in tub dripping non stop, At breakfast the juice machine only had water for the five days I was there. Everyone was unhappy with breakfast and staff didn't offer an reason for the juice.

Well to start off when we arrived the man running the front desk wasn’t there we had to wait about 20 min for him to show and then he didn’t tell us there wasn’t a elevator when he but us on the 2 Nd fl and when we went up to ck the room there wasn’t even a handle on the bath room door and the room smelled bad so we ended up with a room on the 1 st ck and walked in and there was paint spots on the walls the only good thing I can say is the shower was good also we had asked for towels and it took about 5 hrs before we got them I will never stay at this hotel and also it said it had a pool and it was not available to use

Good room for a good price

I see all the bad reviews for this place, but i was there and had no problems. Clean rooms, very quiet, i really enjoyed my stay. Room 206 for navy graduation. I really liked that almost everything was 12 or less minutes away. Walmart, little shopping mall, all kinds of fast food places. I would stay there again.

I have never done this before but if you make reservations here, please cancel!!! Not everything that seems to be a bargain is. The rooms are very disgusting. The carpets needs cleaning, cobwebs all over, air conditions are rusted and some doesn't work. Don't know what the hell you are breathing in. The outlets do not work. I had to plug out the TV to use the microwave. The only other thing to plug out was the little refrigerator. They even have the nerve to offer a continental breakfast, when their food certificate that they proudly display on the wall expired December 2017. Had to have the toilet plunged. Don't see how that is possible when the toilet paper they give you is only one ply. Wires are hanging everywhere. They tell you all the amenities that comes with the room; don't believe it. Never again. I will pay my money but it was a last resort because everything was booked for the time I was going to be and it was close to where I needed to be, They say you get what you pay for but there is no reason the rooms shoud look like that. I was afraid to even sleep on the beds. That's how bad it was. Thank God I was only there for a couple of days. Seems as though they have not done anything renovations or upgrades from the time it was built. They need to do better

When i reserved the room on the website it said kotchennetes available, yet i had a room wothput one.

I am writing in concerns of being treated unfair while staying at one of your hotels at America Best Value Inn & Suites Waukegan Illinois 60085. Upon arriving at your hotel I was told that was not an elevator in your location, so since I am pregnant, I requested a room on the 1st floor. Note, that I was there visiting for my Sons Graduation from the Navy Academy Recruit center in Chicago. Once arriving to my room I noticed that the sink in the bath room was stopped up. I called the front desk to let them know around 6:46 am 9-7-18. A front desk person came to my room (115) and tried to hand me the plunger to unclog the sink. I told him I am the guest and I am not unplugging the sink, that’s the hotels job. He was rude and tried to hand me the plunger and the put it inside the room on the floor. I would not take it. Then I waited for the so called manager to come on duty who treated me even worse. Later that evening I returned to the hotel around 7:00pm and noticed my room had not been cleaned and ANTS were everywhere, covering the dirty cups left behind and over the trash. I reported this to the front desk and was told it was probably from the sugar in the empty cup. NO, first of all the room was not cleaned, no excuse for this. Then the front desk guy tried spraying some type of chemical while I AM PREGNANT. This was not accepted, me and my guest packed our luggage and left your hotel for a better serving hotel. With this all being said, I had to check into another hotel to accommodate my pregnant status. I asked for a one day refund and was refused. I asked for another room and was told no more rooms available. I asked for the corporate manager and was told they could not be reached and they could not give out number. So I am online emailing you and now pissed off because of the way I was treated. I expect better service when a customer is paying no matter what. I understand this was probably not a good hotel to be in once I arrived, but I tried to suck it up. But with the bad treatment, I could not suck it up. NO one deserved to sleep in those conditions no matter what the situation is. I WILL NEVER ADVISE ANYONE COMING TO GRADUATION TO STAY AT ANY HOTELS ASSOCIATED WITH ABVI.

They had fleas in the orange juice, door didn't lock, ants in the bathroom,and last but not least no air in the for the 3 nights i stayed manager didnt acommendate my stay,all the concerns i had with this room made my stay horrible

Decent hotel, obviously needs a lot of updating, but the room was clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly. We all felt safe, and it was in good location, not far from the Navy base. I would stay there again if needed.

The bathroom was nasty and the tiles were black from grime. There wasn’t even a fitted sheet on the bed and there were holes all over the walls and let’s not forget the ceilings my god they were disgusting and missing tiles. The only thing about this place that was nice was the staff
