"Outstanding service "

It started of not great but very quickly the amazing girls sorted it out. I have stayed in well over a thousand hotels and can honestly say none have given the same friendly atmosphere as this hotel. Emily and her staff were amazing and made our break away. Food was high quality and delicious. Bar staff were great very friendly. I can’t wait to return. A huge thank you to Emily.

"Our wedding"

Could not thank the team at Fairlawns enough for all of their support with making our special day so memorable! Starting with Josh our wedding coordinator who was amazing from the get go, always at hand to answer many questions and got every detail spot on. We were able to enjoy the build up to the wedding without stressing the small details! We attended both an open evening and a tasting for our wedding menu, which was so lovely. The hospitality at Fairlawns is amazing. All of the staff on the day were amazing! We had so many comments on how plentiful and tasty the food was, especially the beef blade main course. We will look forward to spending our special anniversaries with Fairlawns in the future and for all newly engaged couples looking for a place to book their wedding venue .. I would highly recommend! Cannot wait to receive our professional photos!

Nice surroundings- only let down was to take a shower only to find there was no bath towels in the room - so had to call receptionist.

"Good for special occasions."

Nice basic room, clean and well equipped. Good shower and bathroom. Good parking. I booked for 4 nights for a midweek break, but I was disappointed that the cost of the room did not include a swim in the pool which would have cost £30 per person per swim. Breakfast was £18, so gave that a miss too. Why no GBNews on the tv.? This is the most popular news channel and while we were staying there, GBNews won the best newscaster and breakfast show in the tric awards.

Had a great stay, from the greeting on the entrance to the waiters, cleaners and spa staff everyone seemed helpful, friendly and went out their way to enhance the experience at the hotel. Very greatful
