Fairlawns Hotel and Spa

The room was okay and very clean also tidy. I would love to have a small fridge but in general fantastic 😍

We had our wedding at Fairlawns on the 24th May 2025 and I have nothing but praise for the whole team, especially Josh and Hayley! From the moment we chose fairlawns to our wedding day Josh was my main contact and he was absolutely fantastic. Nothing was a daft question and he always came back with the answers quickly. We arrived on the Friday evening before the wedding and from that moment we were looked after, they ensured we could all check in and even sorted a room for some of our wedding bits as there was a wedding already taking place. Onto our wedding day it ran SO smoothly and everything was exactly as we wanted it, the venue was set out beautifully, the staff were all fantastic, Hayley who was looking after us for the day was absolutely brilliant!! She even came to find us while having pictures to give us some canapés! She let us know exactly what was happening and when and ensured the day went as planned. The whole team were absolutely brilliant and I can’t thank them enough for bringing our dream wedding to life. I would recommend fairlawns as a wedding venue to anyone!! Thank you Josh, Hayley and the rest of the fairlawns team!

Let’s build a hotel with banging doors, spotty WiFi and fill it with glade plug in’s!

We recently had our wedding at fairlawns. From start to finish the staff were amazing. From Josh handling my queries daily to the staff on our wedding day. Everything ran smoothly and we had the best day. The food was amazing. The staff went above and beyond for us and we cannot thank everyone enough for making our day so special. The rooms were gorgeous, very clean and spacious. Our luggage was waiting for us in the rooms we were staying in. The breakfast the following morning was superb. Thank you again to you all. We cannot recommend Fairlawns enough.

Good food, upgraded room which was lovely and great service. Had a pedicure in the spa which was wonderful.

All staff exceptionally friendly and professional. Nothing was too much trouble. I stayed in a lovely loft suite which was spotless and full of thoughtful touches.

Room was pretty poor , tiny tv, had to move once as heating did not work. Gym was ok , treadmill was slipping but managed a workout. Spa looked good, never tried it. Restaurant served good food!

Fantastic hotel, facilities are excellent, staff outstanding and the restaurant was wonderful. I stay here twice a year and it never disappoints!

We booked a table for sunday lunch and was so mesmorised by the noise coming from an adjoining room caused by a family with some ten children just running amoc , some just standing on the seats and yelling at one another. the staff were reluctant to approach the parents and when I reminded them that we too had paid for a four star lunch they did, grudgingly approach them but all to no avail. When we approached the manager on our premature departure he was just so indifferent with what we were trying to get over to him adding that we are a family friendly business, did this mean that all the other guests were expected to be as family friendly given we had paid four star prices for what should have been a relatativly quiet sunday lunch, surely common sense should tell them a family with ten very young children should be accomodated away from the main restaurant, if any one is thinking this is a midless complaint regarding a family outing let me tell you several other guests sitting in close proximity up and left prior to completing their intended stay. This was a real awful experience and the manager just simply dismissed the complaint. I reminded him that if I wanted to spend my sunday being entertained by some unruly children running amoc I would have booked a table at Mc Donalds ! Just make sure if you book a table in their restaurant no matter what the day make enquiries into what family bookings have been made !! I cant tell you what a nightmare lunch this turned out to be ! and no one cared ! Cant emphasise enough what a dreadful expereince this visit turned out to be and the manager needs to revisit the terms of "Hospitality"

I and two golfing friends used the hotel as a overnight for our annual trip. The hotel was very well appointed, staff excellent, food in the restaurant very good, and our rooms were completely adequate for what we wanted. We didn't use the Spa! Very pleased.
