The reception, bar & dining areas are really nice. Also the staff are really helpful friendly & can’t do enough to make everyone’s stay a great time.

The rooms are a bit dated & need updating, windows, carpets, showers etc.

Location, staff, wedding venue

Rooms. Dated, tired gloomy. Musty smell. Keeping window open as much as possible helped a bit, but not possible at night on ground floor for security, so room became very hot.

Location, downstairs rooms were beautiful. Good food. Pleasant staff.

Bedroom very dusty. Window sash broke so couldn't open window on hot night. Air con in bedroom not working. Was told it was standard room but we felt room 9 was budget room as looked out onto a wall. Alcohol very overpriced. No coat hangers provided in wardrobe, not a single one! Don't think staff had even checked the wardrobe as there was something left in there dated over a month ago by a previous guest.
