Derby Midland Hotel, BW Signature Collection

A 4 night stay to relax while touring around. Spacious twin room with very comfy beds. An older hotel with heritage so if you like that sort of accommodation you will enjoy this hotel. Breakfast was great and plenty to choose from. Great to have parking at the property at a discounted rate.

Size of the rooms were good. The food was really REALY bad.

Hotel parking was very hard to find. They charged 8 pounds for overnight stay which was an additional charge to price of room . The keys didn’t work properly so had to go back to reception a couple of times.room was spacious and comfortable.

This was a very short visit and we needed an hotel convenient to the rail station and city centre. The Hallmark is outside the station and a reasonable walk or short taxi to the centre. Good value and excellent facilities.

excellent weekend

We had a lovely stay, very clean, the staff were lovely and the breakfast was really lovely with fresh produce. The only critisism was that the double bed was a small double bed and it was right against the wall and my boyfriend is 6ft tall so abit awkward.

Lovely period building. Room spacious and good bed. Staff very helpful and accommodating. Hot veggie sausages at the breakfast buffet would have been a good addition.

This is an old hotel, in need of refurbishment. No air con, sash wooden windows in much need of replacement. Elevator does NOT go to top floor where my room was. Initially offered a very small 4.6 wide double in poky dark room. I agreed to pay £10 more for larger with two singles. Bigger room but no lift. Breakfast seems to be dominated by not enough tables, people had to wait. Quality of food was average. Nothing special or to complain about - average. No fridge in room. Tea & Coffee yes.
