The Burn How Garden House Hotel

A most delightful place to stay for a very relaxing experience. There is a lovely garden to sit out in to either read a book or just enjoy the quietness that surrounds you. Lovely rooms offering you a peaceful nights sleep coupled with a filling breakfast in the morning really sets you up for the day. The staff are polite, friendly and only too willing to ensure you enjoy your stay. To cap it all you are only a short walk from one of the nicest lakes. What more could anyone want?

We had a three night stay in room 1, for us it was perfect, the hotel gardens looked fantastic, very colourful, and well kept, our room was great, very large and bright, the beds were comfortable, and the shower was one of the best I have ever used, the breakfast, made the stay, all three days, their was a vast choice of hot and cold selections and the Cumbrian grilled breakfast was our favourite, We found all the staff very helpful, and friendly thank you all.

Having just been to the Burn how for one night stay .Room number 4 was excellent and just been modernised to very high standard staff were all very friendly breakfast was first class .Weather was lovely looking forward to next visit for a lovely long weekend

Stayed for 3 nights at Burn How Hotel, arrived a bit earlier & could park in our own designated parking spot which each room has. We had room which was upstairs with a balcony. The room was nice & spacious, bed was very comfy. Balcony had the sun too which was a bonus so we could sit out and enjoy. Only downside was the shower sometimes took a long time to heat up. Lounge & restaurant area had a nice homely feel, breakfast was included which we had each morning, food was very good & there was a good selection of hot food & continental too. The staff make this hotel, 10/10 for service, everyone was so lovely & helpful! Would most definitely stay here again

We were made to feel very welcome we stayed in number 4 chalet it was very clean and spacious bed was very comfortable breakfast and service was excellent in a great location 2 mins walk to town centre the hotel surroundings was very relaxing and very peaceful would highly recommend it to anyone v

We enjoyed a fantastic long Easter weekend at Burn How Garden Hotel. We liked the friendly staff, the room clean and confortable and enjoyed three excellent breakfasts. Also the garden around the hotel is worth to be visited. We will come back again and highly recommend this house.

Lovely stay at the Burn How. Great location and the onsite parking was a real bonus. We stayed in the Country House, and the room had all the facilities we needed. The staff at the Burn How were amount the most pleasant and helpful staff in any hotel we’ve ever stayed in. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic.

Another stay at this lovely hotel, as always the staff were wonderful, welcoming and friendly. Good choice for breakfast, both hot and cold. The room was clean and comfortable. Quiet location with good parking and only a five minute walk into Bowness. Will be back soon xx

Perfect location, just off the busy area. Beautiful gardens, and the best breakfast ever!

Rooms very clean service very friendly ) I recommend . Breakfast amazing.The hotel is located in a quiet place very close to the marina. Also nearby are many restaurants and pubs..The room has a kettle, TV, telephone and WiFi access.!!!!!!!
