The Burn How Garden House Hotel

Rather than stay in "the house", this time we stayed in a garden room - number 4, which had been recently refurbished. Great job with the refurb, everything clean and spotless. Bed was not the comfiest but no complaints really. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was the usual very high standard. We are looking forward to staying here again

Fabulous 5 night stay with a very relaxed atmosphere. Beautiful garden & although very close to the centre & Lake the hotel was extremely quiet and peaceful. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. Beautiful large modern bedroom with a huge comfortable bed. All the staff were extremely friendly & helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. We would definitely recommend & we will stay there again.

A last minute short stay at Burn How was fantastic. Wonderful staff and ideal location for a trip to Windermere. We had breakfast every morning and each meal was spot on and the staff couldn't do more to help and make your visit enjoyable. Thank you very much!

The place was lovely and quiet, staff were friendly. Good breakfast. Location is great within walking distance to the lake pier. Our only criticism is that we were asked to book a timeslot for breakfast, and that was limited and later times were usually all booked out; we booked the small country house double room, and we didnt like that the room had the sink in the main carpeted bedroom, while the bathroom had only a shower and toilet.

We loved our stay here. Room was lovely, spacious and the balcony was fantastic to enjoy the glorious weather. There were plenty breakfast options available. All the staff were lovely and really helpful. We will be back and would recommend.

Great place to stay- easy to walk to Bowness centre but set back in peaceful gardens. Great, pleasant and helpful staff. Booked last minute when we decided to say over and got a room with parking and no fuss. Even got a free upgrade. The bar and restaurant area is clean, calm and heat to relax before or after going to town.

Our second stay, its quite quaint but great attention to detail, great service and great location. You have your own designated parking space clearly marked and pointed out on arrival, unfortunately somebody took ours the receptionist was able to sort and give us another one but she was busy enough without sorting this out.

We had a fantastic 3 night stay at Burn How Garden Hotel. The rooms was comfortable and spotlessly clean. Housekeeping made our bed daily and topped up tea and coffee supplies . Breakfast was delicious and had great variety but we favoured the Cumbrian breakfast. All the staff were very welcoming and polite. Would love to visit again in the future.

Stayed in a beautiful bungalow type room with balcony & own parking space.Booking in was made easy at the main hotel by friendly staff. Good choice for breakfast too .The views & Burn How gardens were stunning.Short walk into town with plenty to see & do.Burn How,the Staff truely amazing Would definatley reccommend 100%
