The Address Cork

Hotel converted from ex hospital so a bit quirky. Rooms good size but basic. Got served fish which had gone off. Obvious from the strong smell of bleach. Sent it back. Investment needed in building. Staff nice. Views over Cork good. Parking on site

Beautiful building, comfy beds, great view over Cork

Rooms were spacious. Had easy parking. Walkable to restaurants and pubs and city centre.

The address cork was easy to find, grand hotel on the outside and cute lobby/ restaurant. The rooms were quite large but the beds were not comfy and you couldn’t adjust the temperature in the room. There was a couch in one room with white stains all over it. Parking on property is limited. The bathroom in the lobby was also wildly heated- felt like a sauna. Receptionist was nice, easy check in/ check out

Hotel took a function booking which it would not honour due to a lack of communication between staff. Offered another option at a higher price. Conveyed this by email calling it a minor change. Staff appeared to be untrained and unprofessional in contrast to the hotel that I subsequently booked.

Staff very pleasant from start to finish at hotel and restaurant. Room was large but very stuffy unless window was open. A fan would’ve been nice since AC isn’t an option. I would’ve loved a shelf in shower for razor or a little seat or lower shelf. Conditioner would’ve been a plus as well. Limited television channel offerings. Beautiful location on the hill but it’s not close to anything. Parking on site.

Hotel itself was beautiful and a great experience. The location was out of the way from the main city center and in a less “walkable” area. While located just a 12 ish minute walk from the bus station, the walk is a straight up incline so travellers lugging large bags may want to opt for a cab to the hotel.

Lovely clean room with balcony. Bed very comfortable. Only one complaint and that is that there is not much choice for breakfast. There was no juice in dispensers, although pineapple juice was provided when no orange juice available. The toaster seemed to be out of order. The hot buffet was limited. We liked the hotel apart from this, and staff were friendly. Would stay again

The room had two irons and ironing boards, which was a bit strange. No bar fridge to keep your drinks cold. No aircon and we had to open the windows for a bit of fresh air. The bed was not comfortable and rather small. The water pressure in the shower was below standard and although the water pressure was mediocre, to say the least, the shower was clogged and water drained slowly. We had to prop up the tv to be able to view it properly while lying down on the bed to relax. I would rather stay somewhere else when I come to visit Cork again.
