Lamp in room and soap dispenser in the shower not working

Booked one night for my significant other to get away. I can’t say that I was impressed at all. Being that the hotel itself was in the Denver Tech Center, I figured that the hotel would be kept up to standard. However, I was disappointingly surprised. Staff at the front desk were not friendly, the hotel elevator was sketchy and there was blood on the ceiling, the light above the sink didn’t work, the tv remote didn’t work, the security latch on the door was wobbly, and the hallway smelled like dog pee. There were no staff at the front counter when we tried to check out either. I would not recommend staying here unless you’re comfortable concealed carrying because it feels like you’re walking into the ghetto.

I’ll give it 4/10 because the bed was very comfortable other than that the inside of the place was shady as hell. Also the shower was not very clean.

We enjoyed our two night stay. Highlights: Clean room, helpful staff, low cost, spacious room. Negative: WiFI was completely non functional.

I don't know where to start. There were what I'm going to assume "ketchup" stains everywhere. Cove base in the bathroom was coming off the wall due to mold and deteriorating drywall. The night latch was loose and prevented easy access in or out. Otherwise the service was fine but cleanliness was very much lacking.

This is absolutely not the hotel's problem at all, they were absolutely amazing and apologetic about the entire check in. But DO NOT BOOK THROUGH TRAVELOCITY OR EXPEDIA!! Check in took nearly an hour because travelocity completely messed up the payment on their end, apparently this is a very common occurrence which is ridiculous. But the hotel and staff itself were absolutely stellar, 5 stars for them, 0 stars for travelocity.

I want to note the staff first. They were excellent. They seem like they need more help, the place is understaffed for the amount of responsibility expected of them. Despite that observation, the staff were helpful and friendly and in my opinion deserve a raise. My room was fair and seemed clean enough. The negative side: There was no remote for the TV, no smoke detector, no clock, the towels were very thin and small, the bathroom amenities seemed old and spoiled. The positive side is the bed was very comfortable, the room was quiet, the shower was comfortable with good supply of hot water, the thermostat worked correctly and there was a working mini fridge and microwave. With bringing my own bathroom amenities and towels, I enjoyed my room even though the TV was unusable without the remote. For the price, I would have stayed longer if it weren't for feeling uncomfortable outside my room. The hallways were dirty and smelled heavy of pot smoke and chemicals. There were many people loitering outside and it was hard to tell if they were customers of the hotel or not. If I didn't have a parking space directly next to the lobby entrance, I would not have stayed there. I didn't feel safe in the parking lot and people often wandered closely around me when I would go to my car to retrieve things. I don't know if they were actually threatening or not but it was frequent and caused me to feel uncomfortable enough to choose not to extend my stay.

Was not impressed that there was no breakfast and that the hot tub was shut down. We wanted to get into hot tub and relax. Things were fairly messy.

I paid for a king bed so i couldn't sleep there anymore
