Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya Adults Only All-Inclusive

The property is beautiful - views from the room were great. Service is excellent, great range of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks at the bars. Staff happy to make something off menu. Activities were great fun and I like that they were included. In particular use of the tennis courts and the Macarame class were favourites. Make sure you reserve your place in advance! Lola’s beach restaurant was our favourite. Beach was beautiful, some seaweed but it was being cleared up daily- it’s part of the nature of the beach. Breakfast was fantastic with a wide range to choose from.

The main buffet could offer a vegetarian ‘main dish’ - some nights I found there was only the side salads to choose from. Service was excellent however there was an expectation to always tip- as an all inclusive the tip should already be included. This was for drinks, omelettes at breakfast, room cleaning etc. There were not that many sun loungers for those who chose not to upgrade to club member. This meant you had to be up early to reserve one.

The resort looks modern and well maintained. Everything feels high quality. The room was amazing, spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The staff was welcoming, polite, and helpful throughout the stay. Overall, a really good experience and definitely worth the money. I would stay here again.

The food had good variety, but the taste could be improved. There were not enough sunbeds near the pool and beach, especially during busy hours.

Third time at this hotel and would highly recommend. What I love about this hotel is it’s smaller in size (one large pool, 5 restaurants) which means the quality in everything is better since they don’t have to cater to massive crowds. No water downed drinks and the food is pretty delicious. The staff is all super friendly and very attentive. Our guy Miguel in the buffet restaurant always went above and beyond. The beach area was always being cleared from sargassum. We also came across a small hidden cenote about a mile from the hotel (left turn all the way til you end up at it). The spa is always worth the money, went twice for a massage. Only complaint is lots of the previous public chair areas are club level (extra money) so you have to get up early to get a chair. Can’t wait to return soon.

Nous avons passé un séjour extraordinaire pour notre Baby moon au Hyatt Zilara riviera Maya. Du début à la fin nous avons reçu un accueil extraordinaire. Nous avions pris une suite Privilege avec vue sur la mer et avions droit à un majordome qui était aux petits soins pour nous tous les jours. Nous avons adoré les petites attentions donnée dans notre chambre les surprises vraiment on ne pouvait pas demander mieux comme service. Grand merci à toute l'équipe Atchuma, Christian Martin et bien d'autres qui ont fait de notre séjour un rêve. Première fois que nous faisions un hôtel sans enfants aussi et franchement on va pas se mentir ca a participé au calme de l'hôtel que nous recherchions Je conseille vivement si vous cherchez des vacances relaxantes.

The resort itself is absolutely beautiful. The rooms are very nice (need bathmats in the showers, floor is marble and very slippery). The pools are very beautiful, 2 together with one side quieter and the other a little livelier. The beach was beautiful, only one day of sargassum. We had a few bumps on our vacation, but I must commend several persons for making things right! First reported to Mar of the entertainment team who took all the details and taken to a management team meeting. We then met with Ana and Benito who were wonderful and set up reservations, sent wine to the room, special drinks in the fridge, turn down service. Benito set up another special dinner in the Italian restaurant, and a special treat for our last breakfast, truly appreciated the special touches. Yesemia Ramirez was absolutely wonderful with us, setting up a special anniversary dinner, checking on us to make sure everything was right - a truly warm and sincere lady! Thanks to all from the entertainment team Mar, Hulyo, Dayanna and so many others we didn't get name. Pool bar Alexander, Ernesto who is so friendly and happy, Ariel who is always smiling. Sports Bar Noe, Paublo and Hulyo who were so good at making drinks and chatting! Breakfast/Lunch: Guadeloupe, Ricardo and Alida, Javier (our favourite) and special thanks to Esperanza for always checking on us as well and Laura and Joletta for always checking up on us. So many other that were kind and helpful that we didn't get names - Every employee in the resort is excellent!! With that all said, the only small downfall for the resort is the food, as the consistency was not always there. The desserts were excellent. In chatting with other guests, most felt the same way. Return guests felt the quality had gone down. We always had a good meal, just not great. Would we return, for the right price yes!

We felt the food could have been better, it was good not great. Consistency was not there. The new mangers Yesemia and Benito are working hard to make things better and I am sure they will do it!! It did not concern us, but we met people who were older and with disabilities and there is a lot of stairs, people should know this before coming or these guests we spoke to feel the elevators and the distance to their rooms was very far.
