"Bathroom Smelled like Smoke"

I stayed for one evening while catching a flight at JFK. Overall was a good hotel. However, I did notice that when I entered the bathroom in my room, there was a slight smell of cigarette smoke which I personally really dislike. I would assume for a hotel with a no smoking policy, that the bathrooms would not smell this way.

The carpet was filthy, stains and gum or candy stuck on it. The continental breakfast was not provided and no compensation was made, the price remained the same. Majority of staff working the desk was rude and unprofessional. There was one professional one on the night we checked in.

"Absolute hell"

Definitely terrible, room smelled like cigarettes. Staff was extremely rude. Sheets were dirty everything was hell. The sheets had brown spots on them and the rooms are muggy and hard to breathe in. I spent the better part of thirty minutes waiting in the lobby as well because the receptionist told me my reservation didn’t exist when I had the receipt in hand. I’ll take my money back now.

"Excellent"

It was very clean and the room was nice, with nice soaps and shampoo, but not having a mini fridge or microwave in the room made the food options expensive as we had to order in food multiple times. The staff was friendly and got a shuttle directly to our terminal. The driver was really nice! He even waited just for me to say goodbye to my husband and take me back to the hotel!

"Not bad"

Hotel is ok however, this young man (Jamal) I think was his name (Indian descendant) behind the counter customer service attitude should be checked. He was rude over the phone with another customer while I was waiting to be checked in and his attitude was no different when it was my turn to get help because I simply asked him why it wasn’t mentioned on line anywhere that parking wasn’t free for this establishment? His answer was paid, be towed or go find another hotel. Not good at all.

Good location but not any surrounding amenities. Very small lobby, no breakfast. Good location for one night if you need to be close to the Airport.

"Not professional"

1.) Email from Hotel had wrong phone number and address listed. instead of ...977... I was sent ...997... and address was wrong as well. 2.) I was told that shuttle from the airport comes every 20 min - it took 55 min in a freezing temperature. Apparently, they were saving money and using Holliday Inn's Shuttle and their Shuttle was just parked. Do not count on transportation. Room was clean, but hallways look bad and they also play music in a hallways all the time.
