Mia Reef Isla Mujeres - All Inclusive

Our day at MÍA Reef was perfect, and Enoc was amazing! Friendly, attentive, and always a step ahead — drinks flowing, food coming right when we needed it, and zero stress. He kept us well fed, well hydrated, and completely relaxed all day. He made our beach day feel effortless and luxurious. Five stars for Enoc!

Another fabulous time spent at this gem of a hotel. I have no idea who these people are that leave a negative review of this place...they definitely would not be friends of mine. Our group of 10 LOVED our time spent here. The buffet food was the best we have had in recent years of travelling. The service from all the staff is top-notch. We enjoyed the a la carte restaurants & the ceviche lunch. No complaints at all. (Although the Italian a la carte that was extra outside of the all inclusive was not the best meal) Hats off to JC, Roberto, Jonathan, Jerry, Vincente, Kevin and everyone else who I can't remember their names but can see their smiling faces. These wonderful people work hard, long hours and deserve the recognition. Jobs well done! This is our 3rd time back and won't be our last. Mia Reef maybe tiny and in need of some little fixer repairs but overall the location can't be beat and its proximity to town is a big bonus. Till we meet again ~

Friends and I stayed at the Mia Reef hotel but we are not likely to return. First the pros: 1. The food is pretty good at this all inclusive. The menu changes and there are lots of choices. 2. Most of the staff is very nice and tries to be accommodating. 3. The water in the inner cove is pristine and gorgeous. 4. Rooms are clean. Cons: 1. The room you booked or requested is not likely to be the one you get. No one I.in our group got the room requested. 2. The rooms, while clean, are very plain. The light fixture lost its cover and is now just a bulb hanging from the ceiling. 3. The villa rooms are also a death trap with three stairs between the bathroom and the bedroom. Why? Just who thought that was a good idea? 4. Information is bait and switch. When we inquired about getting a golf cart for five, we were told the price and that we could all fit. However when we went to actually book it, they required an upgrade at twice the price. They also confirmed a booking at a restaurant only for us to be told, when we showed up, that the restaurant we confirmed was not actually open that night so they put us at a different place,, outside, with 40 mph winds howling. It took some real Karen-ing to get us inside, out of the wind. 5. The one nice beach day we had was spoiled by a group that had their personal music BLASTING. Management was asked several times to ask them to turn it down but they did nothing. 6. There is really very little to do on Isla Mujeres other than drink, eat, and shop for cheap souvenirs. That may be a perfect vacay for a couple days but it gets boring quickly. In short, with so many other choices to stay, it is not likely we give Mia Reef another chance.

We have just returned from our 2 week stay at Mia Reef a which is our second stay here and had a wonderful time thanks to the exceptional staff that go above and beyond to ensure your stay is memorable We have stayed at many All-Inclusive resorts in Mexico, Cuba, Dominican Republic, and Jamacia. We have broken down the review to the different areas Room – the room is basic, but it includes everything you need. It was very clean, and the bed was comfortable. If at any time you needed extra supplies, they were brought up immediately. The bathroom is small but functional, my suggestion would be to have comfortable chairs on the balcony Buffet – the food was all very tasty. If you are planning on staying more than a week it can get repetitive. All the staff at the buffet were extremely hardworking and so friendly. We got the pleasure to have Jerry, Jimmy, Vincent, Mike, Kimberly serve us and could not have asked for more pleasant staff Cevicheria Sea Food Lunch Bar – If you like sea food such as Shrimp Tacos, shrimp cocktail or Tostadas this was the place to go and the server Roberto was so friendly and was always smiling. Al A Carte – There are two which are included at no extra charge. The Grill and the Mexican. Food was very good and service was exceptional. There is also a new one opening the Italian which will be an extra cost but we did get the opportunity to try it as Kevin our concierge invited us to experience it and we very much enjoyed it. Bar – We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the liquor and the drinks that were served as it wasn’t just low-end liquor. As well the bar staff were so nice and seemed to always remember your order, Richie made sure that the drinks that we liked they had the ingredients available to make them. Bell Boys – they were always around to help you anytime you needed them. It was great to deal with Bernabe, he was such a hard worker and always had a smile on his face. He ensured that the day we were leaving we had a cab ready for us. Beach Servers – these guys are always running and are ensuring you have any drinks you need or want. We cannot say enough about JC as this guy could not do enough for everyone to ensure you have a drink or food. He even made sure we had transportation on the day we left from the Ferry Terminal to Cancun airport and helped us prearrange a ride. Thanks JC for making our stay so enjoyable and memorable. In summary we cannot say enough about the cleanliness and the staff at the Mia they are certainly the reason we will return in the near futur
