If strictly looking for a hotel in BB, this is the place you should stay. I usually rent out cabins/homes when in BB, but was coaxed to stay here, and it was a truly simple & pleasant stay. Great staff at hotel and restaurant, clean rooms, small tile-room, and close to town energy. We stayed in 306, which was the premium sized room with fireplace… and it will be enough room for 2 people for a night or two. Views are great for BB, and we did not take advantage of pool, sauna, or jacuzzi. Would go back if looking to stay at a hotel, and not a cabin.

Excellent place to stay. Beautiful, well-designed rooms with lake views. We loved taking advantage of the sauna and cold plunge, and our daughter had a great time playing in the park next door. The location is ideal, and the setting is genuinely beautiful. We’d happily stay here again.

Hotel Marina Riviera is an absolute gem in Big Bear. We spent time using their wellness amenities and it was such a great experience from start to finish. The spa, sauna, cold plunge, and wellness area were all excellent. Everything was clean, thoughtfully designed, and felt truly relaxing. It was the perfect way for our whole group to unwind. What really stood out was the staff. Everyone treated us incredibly well and made us feel welcome the entire time. They were friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed to care that we had a good experience, which made a big difference. If you’re looking for a place in Big Bear to reset and recharge, this is it. Highly recommend for anyone who wants a peaceful, high-quality wellness experience.

The hotel has a very cozy atmosphere, with friendly staff, a clean room, and an incredible view! We will definitely be back!

The TV in our room wasn’t working, and the fireplace had no thermostat — it could only be turned on for about 15 minutes before the room became uncomfortably hot. There is also no common area in the hotel where guests can spend time outside of their booked room, and with only one chair in the room, it was impossible to relax or pass the time, especially in bad weather. It felt like there was nothing to do other than lie on the bed for the entire stay. Overall, the experience did not match the expectations for this type of property. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t return.
