Three Waters Resort and Marina, Islamorada, a Tribute Portfolio Resort

Very relaxing time at Three Waters Resort - We needed that break, felt like we were in the Caribbeans. We stayed in the Cove and had an Oceanview. Love the private balcony! Food - Breakfast and dinner was great and the staff was very pleasant. Room was clean, we didn't hear the road traffic. | Note: the free kayaks/canoes/paddle boats can be check out only from 8 am to 5 pm, so be aware.

Stayed for a few days to celebrate granddaughter’s birthday. Everything was first class. The employees were so helpful and friendly. The resort itself was clean, and the food was great. Would go back for sure.

Three Waters Resort is without a doubt the absolutely best stay in the Keys. Over the last decade, we’ve traveled the Keys and stayed at many Marriott properties as well as non-Marriott resorts from Key Largo to Key West. The grounds, the rooms, the amenities and the food (best sausage and eggs over easy we’ve had in years)- all superb but the what truly sets it apart are the staff members. Although everyone we encountered was warm and welcoming - bending over backwards with the simplest request; I have to give a special shout out to front desk leader, Aundre’. Upon arrival, watched him check in multiple guests and effortlessly fulfill every request all with a very understanding and kind smile. He truly showcases how excellence in customer service can elevate a guest’s experience in the first crucial moments an impression is formed. So thank you, Aundre’, and thanks to everyone else we encountered. You made this a very special and memorable trip and we will, without a doubt, return soon.

Did not live up to expectations based on cost. Service: At the price point this hotel charges, their service should be on point. Service at both the Tiki Bar and the breakfast restaurant was very lacking (no acknowledgement from any servers for 10-15 minutes, no coffee refills, had to go to the bar to ask for a menu and ultimately the bill). It was not a one off - this happened at all 3 meals we had on-site. The fire pits are not consistently lit at night and have a plaque telling you which number to text to get it lit. It took almost an hour for someone to show up, at which point we were done sitting out there. Amenities: The outdoor gym is falling apart (only one working treadmill, ski erg broken, sand everywhere). The pools were nice. We enjoyed the free shuttle to nearby restaurants. Room: The room was clean, but very small. Walls are very thin and there is a lot of light coming in at night despite a blackout shade. There is nowhere to sit other than the bed. Location: Excellent Overall it’s what I would expect from a Courtyard or similar - not a Tribute hotel charging several hundred dollars to over a thousand per night.

Enjoyed the staff and restaurants. Very nice people at the resort as well. A great experience.

Room is very small and small bathroom. Very little counter space or room to store luggage and personal items. There's also no light in the refrigerator bar area which I thought was a mistake in construction. Also additional lighting in the room could be helpful.

This resort is beautiful. The grounds and amenities perfect. However, my room was a bit of a dump. There was no place to sit except the bed or toilet, bathroom was small, no carpeting in the room like in photos. If you want a peaceful experience you will not get that if you’re assigned to room 324. It’s right next to the ice maker and the Lemon Twist. The room faces the parking lot and car alarms kept going off. Ask for a different room if rest is on your mind.

We spent 2 nights at Three Waters Resort and it simply was not long enough. The only thing we would do differently is book a Suite rather than the Ocean View Guest Room, 2 Queens with a Balcony. The amenities were top notch, we loved getting out on the water in the kayaks and paddle boards. The sunrises were spectacular. The mini fridge was larger than other resorts we stayed at so that was a nice touch. Plenty of dining options. We saw dolphins the morning we were checking out. And even saw a shark at the Marina when we first arrived. We walked to Theatre of the Seas, which was so much fun. Overall, I will recommend Three Waters to anyone visiting Islamorada!
