Courtyard by Marriott Providence Warwick

Expedia or whoever manages the choices of rooms needs to renew the options for this property. Staff told me King sized bed rooms don't come with a couch bed. Fortunately they gave me a portable mattress so it wasn't a problem.

Not enough towels to shower. Called front desk and housekeeping over 10 times and no answer. Went to front desk to be told towels were in dryer, come back later. No towels in the pool either

Checked in with a young lady looking at her phone who appeared to be utilizing it as a mirror. She had a difficult time looking up my Bonvoy # (I’m a Lifetime Platinum Member) and never told me she gave me a handicap room. After checking in the room, I returned and questioned her and she replied “we are sold out”! Never received an apology or any other compensation…Further, I needed to stay a 3rd day, which I booked through the Bonvoy desk. To my surprise on this third day, they locked me out of my room after returning in the afternoon. While getting my keys reprogrammed I was asked for an ID by the new desk attendant. While I fumbled to get my ID, I questioned her “really?” while displaying the two cards and giving her my room # she snappingly stated “did I check you in?”…I assume, her meaning was if I had checked you in you wouldn’t have to show ID. She reprogrammed the cards without me displaying my ID….Imagine that!

It was mediocre. The room was old and dark. Toilet was REALLY low to the ground. Just kind of dingy overall.

The front desk staff not friendly, bothered to do check-in. Bedding was full of stains and shower did not drain well.

Just seemed a bit run down not at all what I would expect from a courtyard mariot

It was a great location for us

Location, pool for kids.

1) The woman who helped with check-in was nice but very difficult to understand. (It wasn't her accent. She just didn't speak up and had poor diction.) 2) An ant ran up my arm while in my bedroom. 3) Our daughter's 7-year-old vomited in bed around 9:30 pm. She called for assistance (new bedding, etc.) but no one in housekeeping or the front desk answered her calls. I eventually got someone at the front desk. The woman at the front desk (not the same one who checked us in) very nicely brought up replacement bedding within a few minutes. She apologized that was all she could do to help us, however, because she was the only person on duty. (This is supposed to be a Marriott, right? Disgraceful!) 4) The sofa bed in both rooms was extremely uncomfortable to sit in.

The staff was extremely good and the service was excellent as well.
