Adelya Cave Hotel

This was a friendly local hotel close to the main area of business on the lower level of the town. They recommended their sister restaurant that was a short hike up the narrow streets which we did go to and loved the view from up there! Great service and cool cave walls!

Staffs are all very nice. Cooking lady, receptionists are nicest people that i encounter in Turkey. It’s really close to the bus station and many other things.

Water pressure, toilet flush was not that strong.

Insufficient room ventilation

Excellent stay. Must admit I wasn’t there much, but the service was excellent when I was there, and everyone was very helpful. Had I not been solo and spending time hiking and hot air ballooning, I would have liked to have stayed in an upper level suite room. Location was fantastic and felt very central

We absolutely loved our stay here! The staff are all very lovely, having lots of recommendations on where to eat and what to do. We got an airport shuttle to and from the airport, 15 euros cash per person which was great. Every morning, you’re greeted by the owner and staff at breakfast where they cook a huge delicious breakfast for you to start your day! And even better, you get to eat watching over Goreme on the terrace which is beautiful. The room was clean, we got an iron on request to use when needed. The head of security, Harley (the hotel cat), loves to say hi and watch over the place. Be careful if you leave your window open, or you might have to escort his fluffy butt out of your room. Our room didn’t have AC but with it being in the rock and having a fan, we found it very comfortable. Sometimes I was even too cold and had to turn the fan off! Very nice to come back to after a hot day out.

Excellent service snd support from staff. Very tasty breakfast as well. Location was great, just 10 min walk from sunset point and in heart of Goreme. They were very supportive of guiding us with the things to visit and rooms were clean and tidy. Would definitely recommend!

We loved Adelya. Everything was perfect. Great location in the heart of Goreme, walking distance to everything. Breakfast was amazing and the owner has a restaurant worth at least a couple of nights of the best Ottoman inspired and traditional dishes you will have in Turkiye. The staff are lovely. Truly, we could not have asked for better for our time in Cappadocia.

We had such a lovely time at Adelya! We arrived late at night, and were greeted by Furkan bey and Ali the cat. We were given directions and information on what we could do for the next few days of our stay, and how we could watch the hot air balloon rise in the morning (since I didn’t want to ride one). The breakfasts were so nice and served to us personally. We were always looking forward to the breakfast. And Deniz bey was incredibly helpful and kind. Another plus is that we got discounts at places managed by the same group.

The location is just perfect. It’s close to good cafes and restaurants, and literally 10 minutes away from a nice spot watching the hot air balloons (we didn’t go because we’re not fans of height). The security cat is so majestic and stunning - also so cute and friendly. Every staff is incredibly sweet and accommodating. Furkan bey helped us figure out where to go and what to do during our stay, and Deniz bey was so welcoming and warm. It feels like one big happy family, and we’re so happy to have been a part of it. They made our stay in Göreme so much more memorable than we’d hoped.

My husband forgot to bring his toothbrush, and had to walk out to a convenience store to get one. Perhaps it’d be nice if the hotel sold some too.
