"Ok for a quick stop over"

Nice reception area the dining room , stairs and hall ways leave a lot to be desired, the room was looked like it has bot of a spruce up but all the carpets need replacing. It was ok for a nights stay after a shopping trip. The car park looks a bit dodgy but our car was fine you can pay on your phone or in the hotel on a machine. Walking distance to the shops, tesco next door. We ate in the restaurant we had to wait at least 40 mins for our meal and we were the only ones in there my daughter said the steak was good , i wanted a Panini with mozzarella but they hadnt got any so had a fishfinger sandwich was dire.

Excellent value and the breakfasts were really good. It is well located for the city centre, railway station and bus station and lots of good local pubs.

"Good value hotel with peaceful room."

Breakfast fine. Waitress friendly.

No shelf for toiletries. Expected cold tap to be on the right but it was the hot tap so made my drinks from hot tap instead of cold tap. This was on my second stay. On my previous stay I reported difficulty turning on tap in bathroom.
