Treetops Resort

A group of us went out to dinner at Legends restaurant at Treetops Resort in Gaylord. We started with fun drinks. Enjoyed amazing rosemary focaccia bread with a pesto olive oil for dipping…yum! There were six of us and everyone ordered something different. It all looked scrumptious!! I had the sticky ribs, let me say, I will for sure be ordering them again!! Yes…we had to have some dessert….cheese cake, key lime pie, and (my favorite) flourless chocolate cake. Make sure you go visit soon!

Fantastic service as always

The staff were great! The room was in very rough shape all around. Dirty, stains in the carpet, bathroom shower needed cleaning, food in the couch. Seemed like a party room. I'd try it again if traveling that way but would let them know I better have a clean room. It was ok and coffee was excellent.

Property was largely spread out and confusing to navigate. Preference to stay at the main lodge over inn would have been nice to be given the option instead of finding out upon arrival. the inn is very outdated and small beds but overall clean and ok service. would not reccomend staying at the inn on the property. nothing near what the pictures are posted online.

The outdoor hot tub at the main building was cold and that was our purpose of reserving the hotel.

Always a good time at TreeTops. Spacious, clean. Quiet, and friendly.

Snow tubing was a blast. The runs were in good condition and fast. The guys working there were fun and made us laugh. Skiing was good. The rental equipment was ready when we got there. Everyone was very nice and helpful. Will definitely be back.

What a beautiful place, we will definitely be back. Cannot recommend it enough.

Let's start with the room. It was ready when we arrived at about 2:30 pm. We checked in and proceeded to our room. The room was clean. No complaints there. The furniture is well-worn/damaged and could use an update. The room (in the lodge) was a good size and pretty comfortable. The pool was about a foot low on water and cold. It seemed too cold for any adults. The only place I saw adults was in the hot tubs. Last year the pool was comfortable inside and outside in February. We ate at the Sports Bar. The food was delicious but it took over 40 minutes for our food to come out after we ordered. They told us it was because they had to make another batch of mac and cheese because they ran out. We went tubing. When we picked up our tickets, they told us they were overbooked and we would have to share tubes. There was a staff member constantly yelling at people to share tubes and that if your session ended you had to leave. We paid too much for the tubing for them to have overbooked. Even when not "overbooked" the 2 tubing runs cannot handle the number of a full booking. In 1 hour it seemed we spent most of the time waiting in line. Now for the reason they get 4 stars from me: The ski/snowboard experience is phenomenal. Especially for beginners. Everyone we worked with on the slopes went out of their way to ensure we had an enjoyable time. Our reserved rental equipment was set aside and ready when we arrived. The ski school staff are amazing with kids and adults alike. I could not keep up with my 8-year-old son, as we were both snowboarding for the first time. After our initial lesson, I bought him an additional lesson so that he could continue on the bigger hills. The staff took good care of him and showed him some intermediate stuff that I could not have. We had a nighttime snack and breakfast at Bar81 in the Lodge. The food and service was good. It is a nice place to sit and play cards or a board game after the kids have had enough of the pool. All in all, we had a good time and are looking forward to next year.

Loved being near enough to outdoors we could see the snow and walk to dinner. Sadly dining lacked the last night of our stay and most foods were gone. Also had incredibly noisy people I reported to security. I later found their children running up and down stairs admitting they didn’t know where their parents were. Shameful and disrespectful. Also the step down into our room was very disguised and I sprained my ankle not seeing it! Probably best to have reflective tape there if the carpet is matched so perfectly it creates an optical illusion.
